Thor was eating breakfast with Jane, Darcy, and Eric when they heard a loud knock on the door. They all turned and saw Lady Sif and the Warriors Three. Thor instantly brightened at the sight of his friends as he got up from the table. They rushed in through the door, and the group hugged. "My friends, it's so good to see you," Thor said as they released each other.

"I'm sorry, but who are they?" Darcy asked. "Ah, right. Jane, Darcy, Eric, these are my friends from Asgard.
Lady Sif, Hogan, Fandral, and Volstagg. Everyone, this is Jane, Darcy, and Eric."

"Hello. It is a pleasure to meet you," Volstagg replied, waving at them. Lady Sif, Hogan, and Fandral greeted them with a nod as Eric and Jane awkwardly waved back. "'Sup," Darcy replied. "What are you all doing here?" Thor asked. "We've come to bring you home," Fandral stated. "What? Why? I have not become worthy of Mjolnir."

"Well, you'll have to do without," Hogan replied. "I apologize, but I am very confused," Thor admitted. "Thor, Asgard is in danger, and we need you to return," Lady Sif explained. "What is happening?" Thor asked, now very worried. "Ymir has awoken," Hogan stated.

"Who's Ymir?" Darcy asked. "He was the enemy of my grandfather Bor, and it was said that Ymir was the God of Jotunheim," Thor explained. "And I'm guessing your dad is worried he'll attack Asgard?" Jane asked. Before he could respond, something was thrown through the glass door, startling everyone. They looked and saw that a strange orange orb with a black hue on the floor, pulsing. Suddenly, before anyone could react, the orb exploded, knocking everyone back and plunging the lab into complete darkness.

Up on Asgard, Loki had just arrived at the Bifrost when Heimdal exclaimed, "Prince Thor is in danger! You must go to him!"

"What? What's going on?"

"A dark elf is attacking! I must send you there now!" He inserted his sword, activating the Bifrost and sending Loki to Midgard.

Thor was on the ground, conscious but unable to see in the impenetrable darkness. Then, a clawed hand grabbed him by the throat and lifted him off the ground. Suddenly, a glowing green ball of energy flew through the darkness, temporarily lighting up the room like lighting in a storm.

Jane and Darcy were next to each other, holding each other's hands. Eric was unconscious beside the two women, Volstagg had somehow landed on top of Fandral, pinning the smaller man down, Lady Sif was sitting up by the counter, and Hogan had gotten up. The ball of energy struck the assailant, causing him to drop Thor as he went flying. Everyone was plunged into darkness again, and Thor started to crawl to where he last saw Darcy, Jane, Eric.

Then, another ball of green energy flew across the room, striking the assailant again. Everyone heard someone snap their fingers, and they all found themselves outside. "What the fuck?" Darcy asked. Thor, Lady Sif, Volstagg, Fandral got up. "Good thing I showed up."

They turned and saw Loki standing there with a concerned expression. "Brother!" Thor jumped up and crushed Loki into a bear hug. "Thor... not the time," he managed to choke out. Thor instantly released him. "Sorry. I just... I missed you."

"I missed you as well, but we need to return to Asgard right now," Loki stated. "What about my Midgardian friends?"

"They're coming, too," Loki replied. "Guys, I think that guy is coming!" Jane exclaimed. They all looked at the building as they heard loud footsteps. "Heimdal! Open the Bifrost!" Loki yelled. The Bifrost opened, sucking the group in, including Darcy, Jane, and the unconscious Eric. They ended up in Asgard at the gate, much to Heimdal's relief.
