James and y/n arrived at the mall and stood outside in front of the doors at night
Y/n: Jeez
James: I know! It's cool right?

James was about to open the doors, a car pulled up and 3 people came out the car. It was Billy, Lucy, and Karl. Lucy and Karl didn't look fazed by this building, but Billy did.
James: Great, what do you guys want
Karl: It's mostly Billy
Billy: Look, you can't enter
Y/n: What's stopping us
Billy: This is where my brother went missing!
James and y/n looked at each other with concern, but they looked back at Billy
James: If something was in here, why stop us?
Billy: I may be an asshole to you guys, but I don't want your families crying about your disappearance
James: Is someone scared?
Billy took offense to this and pushed James
Billy: No!
Y/n: Then join us
Karl: I'm up for it
Lucy: Might as well
Billy: Fine! Fuck!
The gang entered the building and looked around, everything was a mess. The floors were dirty, garbage was scattered everywhere, and rats walked across the floor.
Karl: Let's split up
Billy: Hahaha! Fuck no!
Lucy: We can go in groups babe~
Billy: I don't know
James: Y/n and I will go together, Billy and Lucy will be together, but...
Karl: Ah, don't worry. I'll go alone

Everyone took out their phones and started recording. The gang part ways to explore the mall, but someone was watching them.

Karl walked down a hallway with no fear, Karl's eyes were caught by something. A candy shop, Karl went in the candy shop to find some goodies. Karl was searching in the backroom until he heard a noise behind him. Karl looked in the main room, but saw nothing.
Karl: Hello?
...
Karl: Billy, Lucy. I know that's... y-you?
Karl aimed his camera and flashlight at them, but he was paralyzed with fear when he saw a creature that didn't resemble a human. It was 8,9 and had an appearance of a cat with cartoon features, but the only thing that was really getting to Karl is the creatures realistic teeth and gums.
???: Hello there~
Karl: AAAAAHHHHH!!!
Karl was immediately wrapped by this creatures arms, they were stretching. That's not normal.
???: Quiet little mouse~ you'll make a great meal~
Karl: GUYS!!! HELP!!!
The creature stab her hand through his gut and Karl screamed in agony, but his screams were cut sort when his neck was snapped.
???: Awwwww, you got blood on my fur~
Later, James, y/n, Billy, and Lucy all met up in the main area after splitting up, but no Karl.
Y/n: Where's Karl?
Everyone: ....
Billy: THIS IS WAY I DIDN'T WANT TO COME IN HERE!!! NOW KARL IS GONE!!!
James: Calm down. He must be pulling a prank, let's go where he went
The gang walk to the area where they saw Karl last, y/n saw a light in the candy store and went there. But all y/n saw was a large amount of blood on the floor and wall.
Y/n: AAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!
James: What?
Lucy: AAAAAHHHHH, IS THAT BLOOD!!!
Billy: This is where Karl must have gone
Y/n kneeled down and picked up the phone. It was still recording, it was Karl's. Y/n stopped the recording and reviewed it with James, Billy, and Lucy.
Billy: Go back, I saw something before the camera was knocked out of his hands
Y/n put it in slow motion and paused it on something, Billy wasn't kidding. There's something
James: What the fuck is that thing?!
Lucy: I don't like this! First, it killed Karl just by the sounds of his screams
Y/n: We have to leave... NOW!
The gang ran towards the door and exited, but before y/n could get out. He tripped and felt something around his leg. It was a cartoony glove, it pulled him back more.
Y/n: WAIT!!! GUYS!!! HELP ME!!!
James: HOLD ON!!!
Before James grabbed y/n. Y/n was pulled into a vent and his scream went with it. Billy pulled James to his car and left, but also leaving y/n behind.
