Chapter 12, Break out (The end?)

(WOW! I've been gone for so long now. I'm not dead, but I took a break from writing. But I'm back in the spotlight and ready to make more chapters. Sorry for my absence)

The prison bell rings, and y/n sat up with panic. Cat also woke up and sat up, but cat saw the panic and fear in y/ns face.

Cat: What's wrong? Did I almost eat you last night?~

Y/n: No, I had that dream again

Cat: The black fog?

Y/n: Yeah

Guard: Wake up! Can't sleep all day

Cat and y/n stood up and left their cell to find a table to eat at, Dog was waiting and waved them down. Cat and y/n sat at the table with Dog

Dog: How was your sleep?

Y/n: Terrible, those beds are hard as a rock

Cat: You could have slept on me, I'm all soft and squishy~

Y/n: No, thank you *blushes*

Food was handed out to the monsters, but y/n got toast with coffee. The rest got raw cow meat, which none of the monsters liked.

Cat: Ewww! Gross

Dog: Agreed

Y/n: What? It's cow meat

Cat: We eat human flesh, not this stuff

Dog: Is there anything to make this meat even worth eating?

Y/n got an idea. He finished his coffee and walked over to a guard wearing heavy gear

Guard: What

Y/n: Do you guys have a grill?

Guard: Yeah, why?

Y/n talked with the guard, and he nodded. The guard called his manager to see if it was okay to bring a grill in the area. The manager agreed and brought in a grill. Y/n took the raw meat, turned on the grill, and started grilling.

Cat: Actually, that smells pretty good

After a few minutes, y/n gave the meat back to Cat and Dog. They ate it and smiled

Dog: Who knew cooked cow meat is way better

Costume man: me next!

Y/n laughed as the other monsters wanted their food cooked as well. One by one, y/n cooked every cow meat the monsters had.

Guard: I'm surprised you know how to cook

Y/n: You learn a thing or two when you live alone, but can I have another propane tank, please?

Guard: Sure?

The guard left the area, and y/n told everyone a plan to escape. They all liked the idea, and it was settled.

Guard: Here, I got your-

Cat punched the guard in the face and threw the propane tank at a wall, and y/n grabbed the guards' service pistol and shot the propane tank. The propane tank exploded and revealed a forest where they all could hide.

Y/n: GO!

Everyone ran into the forest while the guard called in back up, but it was too late. Everyone was at a safe distance. Y/n, Cat, and Dog all went together and separated from the rest. They came across a small hut that was almost invisible if you don't look properly.

Dog: We should be safe here

Y/n: I just realized my deadline for my book is tomorrow. We have to go to my house

Cat: We're escapees y/n, you can't

Y/n: This one is important, though.

Dog: How many pages?

Y/n: Just two more

Cat: I can't see the harm in that. Let's go
