Basil....
The new neighbor that you were to meet. You gripped Wally's sleeve. By how Wally described him he didn't have a mouth and normally had sad eyes and furrowed eyebrows. You try to prepare yourself for your new friend.

You knock on the dark green door and a tall puppet opens it his head having a flower mask that moves with his face. He was fumbling with his hands. He seemed to be wearing a tan sweater with transgender flags at the end of the sleeves, overalls with the pocket colored with the pansexual flag, a teddy bear in his pocket, rainbow legwarmers, and white platforms that added to his height. "Hello dear what seems to bring you to my house?" He spoke nervously his voice monotone and sweet.

Wally speaks first, " (Y/n) here is the newest neighbor, Basil." Basil nods he seems to smile.. or that's what his eyes and eyebrows say and his peddles start to spin clockwise. You honestly thought it kind of looked like a slow fan. You chuckled nervously before croaking, "Yes nice to meet you Basil."

He points to his face. "This is a mask by the way. I haven't shown anyone my real face except Wally." He says softly trying to warn me.

You nod understanding reaching out and taking his hand in yours to shake it. He shakes it happily a mouth growing from the mask that has sharp teeth. It looks like it hurt as his smile stretched across his face.

Your eyes widen in surprise as he grows a mouth. "I want you to see my mouth so you aren't as afraid dear," he exclaims to calm my nerves. You nod in understanding and slip your hand away from his and straighten your posture.

Wally zoned out looking at his house seeming to be staring at the window as if something was gonna jump out at him. Basil giggles trying to keep them from sprouting out of his mouth. "Wally you can't zone out on darling like that." Basil waves his hand in front of Wally's face to get his attention. Wally snaps out of it and stares at the giant puppet. "I do what I want neighbor." He shoots back which makes Basils mouth disappear back into his mask. "I'm trying to be nice Wally I'm your therapist basically and I know when something's wrong." You look at Basil with confusion. 'Therapist?' You think to yourself. Ooh Basil must be a good listener and helper to be a therapist. You start to wonder how many of the neighbors come and talk to him. "Neighbor we gotta leave before Basil starts to spurt flowers cause he's getting angry." Wally sings softly his monotone laugh sprouting from his lips. "I'm not getting angry Wally Darling. I'm just concerned because the last visit you weren't doing so well!" Basil exclaimed flapping his arms, stimming is what it's called, his peddles wilting slightly. Wally grabs your arm and drags you off leaving a sad Basil on the edge of tears. Seems Basil just wants to help people and make them happy, you see how when people aren't happy he frowns. You piece it together and chuckle, you thought it was weird how some brains worked completely different.

You all head to the next house and you start to feel weight slowly lift off your shoulders. You start to become happy to meet these new faces and make new friends.

(Sorry I made him a therapist for the neighborhood. He also has different scents that expel through his peddles to calm or comfort people. He's it is still a mask he has on but he has a mechanical mouth on it that opens up when he wants it too and will talk with him. If you have any other questions just comment it)
