Chris: Last time on Ultra Drama Island, our campers competed in a bonfire building and s'more making challenge! Which was supposed to be deadly, buuuut... someone just had to go soft on the contestants... *cough* Chef! *cough* Anyhoo, during the challenge, Leo tried to save face by stepping back for a change and forming an alliance with Jay. Not exactly sure how stable that's going to be, but only time will tell, I guess! Meanwhile, the Killer Foxes were arguably more entertaining, once again. Diego, still confused at what he did wrong to both Julia and Xavier, spent some alone time in the woods during the challenge. Meanwhile, broken-hearted Xavier tried to make up for lost time by becoming friendly to Rosemary and especially Serenity. Little did he know, though, that Serenity had it out for Rosemary — and once she dropped their s'more ingredients into the fire, it was game over for her! Well, only after Diego voted for himself and caused a tie, but in the end, it was still Rosemary who was flung. We're down 25% of our contestants, but 12 of them still remain! Who'll get eliminated this episode, especially after we shake things up a little bit? Stick around and find out, here, on Ultra, Drama, Island!

Chris (over a loudspeaker): Campers! I need everyone to gather in the main tent. Breakfast is served, and I have a special announcement for all of you!

(In the main tent)

Chris: Let me be the first to congratulate you all on making it to the final 12!

Leo: Surely that's not that impressive? I mean, only four of us have been voted out.

Francisco: Let's hope you're the fifth...

Leo: Excuse me?

Chris: Anyway, the reason why I'm congratulating you is because we're doing a Total Drama first... We're switching up the teams!

*Everyone gasps*

CF: Xavier: Honestly? This is probably for the better. I'm still trying to get over Diego and I'm not talking to Julia, so as long as I'm away from them, I'll be okay.

CF: Leo: YES! As long as my new team doesn't have anyone from my old team — except Jay — then I'll be set till the merge.

CF: Aspen: *sighs* At least I don't have to worry if Rosemary won't be on the same team as me...

Chris: Hmm, now how should we split the teams?

Chef: I say, men on one, women on the other. A good ol' battle of the sexes.

Chris: Chef, don't you know what year it is? We'll be off the air for sure!

Morgan: *raises their hand* And, uh, what about Jay and I?

Chef: *shrugs* Then it won't be a battle of the sexes, so problem solved.

Chris: I like your thinking! We'll have Julia, Serenity, Bella, Kyla, and Caitlyn on one team. Francisco, Leo, Diego, Xavier, and Aspen can be on the other. *turns to Morgan* Morgan, pick a number, one or two.

Morgan: Um, one?

Chris: Great! You'll be with the girls. Jay, you can join the boys.

Julia: Something tells me this wasn't planned out very well.

Chris: *shrugs* You have to jump on opportunities when they present themselves. Now, for your team names... Julia, your team will be henceforth known as the Screaming Snails!

Serenity: Eww, snails?

Chris: Correct! And your team color is pink.

Kyla: This feels like typecasting.
