Aarya POV:
As the alarm blared for the third time, I jolted awake, realizing I had overslept. With a groan, I glanced at the time, cursing under my breath as I realized I was already running late. Without wasting another moment, I dashed to the bathroom, hastily taking a shower and throwing on some clothes.
Rushing out of the door, I cursed under my breath, "Ugh, typical," I muttered to myself, frustration mounting as I checked the time again as I saw the bus pulling away from the stop. With a resigned sigh, I began the long walk to college, my heart pounding with each hurried step.
After what felt like an eternity, the next bus finally arrived, and I practically sprinted to catch it. Arriving at college, I dashed towards my class, the minutes ticking away mercilessly. In my haste, I collided with what I thought was a wall, only to realize it was Rudransh. Rubbing my head sheepishly, I mumbled an apology, ready to continue my mad dash.
But fate had other plans, and I found myself colliding with a wall. Rubbing my head in embarrassment, I looked up to see Rudransh standing before me, his expression a mixture of amusement and concern. "Are you okay?" he asked, his voice surprisingly gentle.
To my surprise, Rudransh stopped me, concern flickering in his eyes as he asked if I was okay. "I'm fine, just running late," I replied hurriedly, eager to make up for lost time. He then informed me that the teacher had already barred him from entering due to his tardiness. Feeling defeated, I wondered aloud about what to do next.
Curiosity piqued, I asked Rudransh why he was at college if he didn't have a class. He shook his head, indicating he had some errands to attend to. "Well, since we're both free now, why don't we go to my favorite spot on campus?" I suggested, a hint of excitement creeping into my voice. Without waiting for a response, I grabbed his hand and led him towards the secluded corner where I often sought solace.
As we made our way to my favorite spot, I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement mixed with curiosity. Rudransh seemed equally intrigued, his eyes scanning our surroundings with a hint of interest.
"What is this place?" he asked, his gaze sweeping over the tranquil setting.
"This is my favorite spot," I replied with a smile, gesturing towards the serene surroundings. "It's where I come to find peace."
Rudransh nodded in understanding, a thoughtful expression crossing his face. "It feels good to be here," he remarked, his voice tinged with appreciation.
We found a comfortable spot to sit, the morning sun casting a warm glow over everything. As we settled in, I couldn't help but marvel at the peaceful atmosphere surrounding us.
"It's so peaceful here compared to the chaos of college," I remarked, shaking my head in amusement. "Coming here always brings a sense of calm."
Rudransh chuckled in agreement, his eyes twinkling with amusement. "You're right. College is always so hectic."
We fell into an easy conversation, swapping stories and sharing anecdotes about college life. Despite our initial awkwardness, I found myself enjoying Rudransh's company, his easygoing nature putting me at ease.
"This place is really nice," Rudransh commented, his gaze wandering over the tranquil surroundings. "Thanks for bringing me here."
"No problem," I replied with a smile, feeling a sense of contentment wash over me. "There's still so much more to explore on campus. Maybe next time we can go somewhere else."
