They went to seek after the dragon balls because they learned through their travels of Nameks & the great Kami. It was also learned that they were running out of time & that they needed to act as the an evil kingdom aligned with Frieza's family plans to use the dragon balls to ressurect the powerful Queen Metalia & also learned that Kami was in need a replacement & the Earth dragon balls were now dormant. The only other set of dragon balls were hidden away in the Moon 🌕 Kingdom eons ago. Given their new mission, Earth's Special Forces boarded the newly, rebuilt ship that from the crash & modified it thanks to Bulma's genius & Capsule Corps funding help aids to set sail & get the planet before the tyrant Frieza, King Cold's son, along with the allied forces of Queen Beryl & the Dark Kingdom & his father, can reach the neighboring Moon 🌙 Kingdom 1st. Roshi said every1 couldn't go as some of them had to stay & protect the earth from potential threats just in case. Prince Vegita had Raditz & Nappa stay on Earth 🌎 🌍 to help in its defense. Yamcha, Chi Chi & Mai stayed behind with Nappa & Raditz & Roshi also alerted Aunt Sarah of the opposing threats to come. Raé shōn, Goku, Krillin, Bulma, Prince Vegita & Piccolo boarded the ship to head into space. Elsewhere, the tyrannical King Cold sat in his chambers & gloated as he had defeated the Saiyan's defenses & long for his love, Queen Metalia, to be revived with the dragon balls to rule all unopposed, but unknown to his their were a few more survivors that would soon rally to get revenge on the Cold family... -
