background: nidal and salish are watching how to lose a guy in 10 days tonight in his bed. (would highly recommend if you haven't watched it)
salish's pov
"what the hell is a.. love fern?", nidal asked
"nidal don't be silly, it's.. oh I guess I don't know either", I said
"salish!", nidal said laughing and playfully hitting my arm
"sorry, i'm sorry", I said cuddling closer to him under the blanket.
I felt nidal's arm wrap around my shoulder, and I just smiled up at him.
time skip to a little later in the movie
"and all the girls dreamed that they'd be nidal's partner, they'd be my partner", nidal sang
"you wish", I said smiling up at him
"you know it's true", he said
"shhh, i'm trying to enjoy the movie", I said teasing him ignoring his reply
time skip to ten minutes later
"are you purposely grabbing a lot of popcorn so it falls into my bed?", nidal asked
"you FINALLY noticed, I wanted to see what you'd do", I said
"oh I see, you were putting a spin on the movie and trying to lose me in ten minutes", nidal said laughing
"yeah, sure", I said laughing.
time skip to twenty minutes later
I thought I had started my period, which was weird because I wasn't supposed to get it for another week.
my face started to get red, and my heart started to beat faster and faster.
"um, i'll be right back nidal, i'm going to run to the bathroom", I said
"do you want me to pause it?", he asked
"um, sure", I said rushing out the door.
when I got to the bathroom, sure enough I had started my period. shoot, I thought. I didn't have my phone with, so I couldn't text jiji or nidal to bring me something.
I searched around in the bathroom for some tampons or pads but I couldn't find anything. well, shoot what am I going to do now? I can't just start yelling for nidal. maybe if I just stay here long enough he'll come and knock on the door, I thought.
ten minutes later
nidal's pov
salish still wasn't back from the bathroom, so I thought I would get up to check on her.
"salish? you good?", I asked knocking on the door
"uhh yeah, but don't come in", she said
"I wasn't planning on it", I said laughing
"are you sure you're good?", I asked
"sorta, could you just go grab jiji", she said
