The Queen of Slytherin

Prologue

"Hi, I'm Cassiopeia and you are?"

" Draco Malfoy, you want to go play in the backyard Cassi- Cassiopeia?"

"Yes please and you can call me Cassie."

Draco grabbed her hand and started running towards the backyard away from his parents.

When they reached a bench they stopped and sat down. But Draco didn't let go of her hand.

"So where are your parents Cassie?"

"My parents are on vacation in Italy right now."

"Oh have you ever been?"

"No but i really want to go. From what my parents tell me it's beautiful. Have you ever been dray?"

"I haven't been to italy before maybe we can together some day. And dray?"

"Maybe some day we could go together. Well it's only fair i give you a nickname."

That was 1985 when Draco and Cassiopeia were only 5. At that time they had no worries, no problems at all. Draco and Cassie grew up together and were best friends. They were always together and did everything together. In 1990 when they were 10 something horrible happened to Cassie. She was heartbroken. She never left her room, she would just sleep and cry. Draco didn't hear from her for months and started getting worried. He was able to convince his parents (Narcissa and Lucius) to go see her. When they got there Cassie's grandfather (Emil Emrys) told them what happened. Draco immediately asked if Cassie was okay. Emil told Draco to go upstairs and try to talk to her. So he did.

He went upstairs and knocked on her door. He waited for an answer but didn't hear anything except some mumbled sobs. He opened the door and walked in to see a horrific sight. Her room was trashed and she was laying in her bed crying. Her hair messy, her eyes bloodshot red, and her whole body shaking.

He ran towards her and hugged her. Draco let her cry for about an hour and a half. She finally calmed down a little and stopped crying. Her and Draco were still hugging as she didn't want him to let go. After a while she was able to let him go. He got up and started picking up her room.

From that day on Draco promised to protect her and make sure that she would never feel like that again.
