 day after what happened between my uncle,Paige and I*

Aubrey and I are making a cake because were bored. Aubrey was asking a lot about what happened between my uncle and Paige. 

"Did Paige do something that caused him to punch her?"Aubrey asked me. 

"I mean all she did was grab my hand."I said. 

"Oooooo!!"Aubrey said. 

"Aubrey stop were just friends."I said mixing the cake batter. 

Aubrey laughed. 

"What were you and Paige doing when y'all were walking down to the office?"Aubrey asked. 

"We were just walking."I said. 

"So y'all were just walking down there not talking about anything?"Aubrey questioned. 

"Well yeah we were talking."I replied putting the cake mixture on the pan. 

"What about?"Aubrey said. 

"Aubrey what is it with you and all these questions?"I asked. 

"I'm just curious.Hey, what would you think about dating Paige? Not that-"Aubrey said before I cut her off. 

"AUBREY? What is up with you thinking Paige and I like each other?"I said. 

"Don't worry about it."Aubrey said taking the pan out of my hands and putting it in the oven. 

No but seriously why is she asking all these questions. I know for a fact Paige would never want to date me. Well, she has been a little....no, no ,no she wouldn't want to date me i'm probably nowhere near her type. 

"Okay the recipe says to leave it in the oven for about 35 minutes."I said. 

" I'll set a timer on my phone."Aubrey said grabbing her phone out of her pocket. 

"Okay!"I said then walking into my room as Aubrey did the same. 

I sat on my bed and grabbed my phone heading to Paige's contact in my messages. 

                                                                                                  How are you feeling?

The bruise still hurts but i'm okay.

                          Omg i'm so sorry, you shouldn't have to deal with this.

"LANA THE CAKE IS DONE!"Aubrey yelled as I heard her heading into the kitchen. 

"Okayy!!"I replied laughing a little as I headed into the kitchen. 

Aubrey put on some mittens and got the cake out of the oven putting it on the counter. 

"You can put the icing on."I said handing her the icing. 

"Really!"Aubrey said grabbing the container out of my hand. 

"Yeah I'm gonna text my friend Autumn to come over."I replied. 

"Okay."Aubrey replied while spreading the icing on the cake.
