The cover is perfectly on the summer theme. A reader can see the story title clearly and notice right away that the story is about a mother/daughter relationship. There are good descriptions throughout the story, that a reader can picture the story well. The story and character conversations should be separate because if not, that could sometimes turn the story into being confusing to follow for a reader.

I really like the cover. IT fits really well with the title. The only suggestion I'd make to the cover is maybe consider changing the font, so that the title reads more clearly. The actual story description and character conversations should be spaced out from each other because that tiny error could cost you a future reader. The flashback in the story and the present-day piece should be spaced out from each other because the way the flashback is currently presented, the flashback kind of just blends into whatever is going on in the story. the short conversation piece between Ellie and her mother Noelle blend together as the statement only belonging to one character because there doesn't seem to be a clear indication of who is saying what. Just a tip to keep in mind to improve future stories.

Interesting cover design, a reader can clearly tell that the story is about a road trip. The character statements and actual story pieces throughout the story should be separate. A classic sibling situation that brings an interesting development to a summer adventure. This story could be intriguing novel, if you ever had future plans of doing so.
