Things I never said

Maybe I had to sail alone ,
to the next shore,in my boat.
I gulped down, through,
The lump in my throat.

I asked if I could spend some time,
With you,or maybe a last walk?
Because it might be our last talk.

Maybe a smile?
Or some memorable words,
From you,
was all I desired.
But wishing for such never fulfilled wishes, 
I'm just awfully tired.

I wonder if you'd miss me,
Or you'd ever reach that day,
When you'll find hard, without me,to stay.
Because! I'm sorry,
I'm leaving today.

I would have cried my heart out,
Or would have hugged you tight,
But no, I can't! because you might be offended,
So ,sh-shall I accept?
That ,this is how it has to be ended?

So goodbye, my love..
These were the things I never said ,
I will!
When I'll see you again probably!!

But I don't think that would ever be,
I don't think ,that day, we'd ever see,
So why not rather say it this way,
" these are the things I never said,
And I would never be able to say ,probably!! "
