Ashton finally built up the courage to knock on Luke's door. he waited patiently till he heard footsteps coming down the stairs and to the door. slowly the door creaked open only a little revealing half of Luke's face.
Luke sighed and was about to shit the door on Ashton but he put his foot in the door so like couldn't shut it. "look I'm sorry...about earlier" Ashton started "thanks for the apology but can you leave now" Luke said trying to push the door closed but to no avail. "can we talk?" Ashton sighs "why?" Luke asks curios why Ashton was still trying "I want to talk to you" he smiles. Luke loved Ashton's smile "but why?" Luke frowned "because I want to get to know you" Ashton replies Luke sighs "you don't get it do you" he snaps Ashton frowns furrowing his eyebrows "get what?" He asks "no one likes me, no one wants to talk to me, you shouldn't either" Luke tries shutting the door again "why shouldn't I? You can try and stop me all you like Luke but I want to help you" Ashton says "I told you I don't need help" Luke glares at him, Luke hated being this way but he couldn't let people in they'd only walk away.
Ashton sighs "I-I know you don't trust me, and I know you think you don't need help but keeping it to your self doesn't help" Ashton tries to reason with Luke he's silent for a minute and opens the door a little wider "why should I trust you" he asks "because I can help, I promise you you will be happy again" he gives a reassuring smile luke doesn't return "I won't trust you right away... you know that?" Luke says wearily "I know that just please give me a chance" Ashton pleads
Luke slowly backs up opening the door wide enough for Ashton to enter. he steps in cautiously "you won't regret this I promise" Ashton says to him looking him dead in the eye "I hope so" Luke whispers
