Jeongin kept waking up throughout the night, his sleep constantly disrupted by the haunting vines of nightmares and the oppressive weight of his troubled thoughts. Each time he jolted awake, his heart raced with fear, and he found himself bathed in the soft, silvery glow of the moonlight seeping through the partially drawn curtains.

The clock on his bedside table mocked him with its relentless ticking, each passing minute serving as a cruel reminder of his inability to find peace. He tried to relax, to clear his mind and drift off into slumber, but the anxiety gnawed at him, refusing to loosen its grip.

With a frustrated sigh, Jeongin threw back the covers and swung his legs over the edge of the bed, his feet meeting the cool hardwood floor with a soft thud. He ran a hand through his hair, his heart pounding with a mixture of anxiety and exhaustion.

Beside him, Hyunjin remained a determined presence, his eyes trained on Jeongin with unwavering concern. Despite his own weariness, he had chosen to forsake his own rest, determined to provide support and comfort to Jeongin.

"Can't sleep?" Hyunjin's voice was a gentle whisper, tinged with a hint of sympathy.

Jeongin shook his head, his gaze fixed on the floor below as if searching for answers in the darkness. "No," he murmured, his voice barely audible above the hushed rustle of the night. "Too many thoughts."

Understanding the weight of Jeongin's burden, Hyunjin nodded solemnly, his expression mirroring his Jeongin's distress. "Any news?" Jeongin's voice trembled with apprehension as he broached the subject

Hyunjin sighed wearily, his shoulders sagging with the weight of their shared concern. "Nothing yet," he confessed, the disappointment evident in his tone. "But we'll hear something soon. I'm sure of it."

Jeongin sighed heavily, his body tensing with exhaustion as he struggled to find respite from the relentless barrage of worries plaguing his mind. With a weary gesture, he sank back onto the bed, his eyelids fluttering closed in a futile attempt to escape the ceaseless turmoil within.

As Jeongin settled into the bed, Hyunjin's gaze drifted to the fallen covers beside him. With a gentle touch, he gathered the fabric and draped it over Jeongin's prone form, tucking it in around him with utmost care, as if seeking to shield him from the harsh realities of the world outside.

Hyunjin noticed tears glistening on Jeongin's cheeks, silent witness to the depth of his suffering. Kneeling beside the bed, he reached out, his fingers brushing against Jeongin's skin as he tenderly wiped away the tears, offering a silent gesture of solace and reassurance.

"We'll go to the hospital first thing in the morning," Hyunjin's voice was a soothing murmur, infused with unwavering determination. "Minho needs us, and we'll be there for him. "

Jeongin nodded, a glimmer of gratitude shining in his eyes as he met Hyunjin's gaze. Despite the heaviness of his heart, he found solace in the quiet strength of his friend's presence, drawing comfort from the unspoken promise of solidarity and support.

………….

Jeongin finally slept. Hyunjin's eyes fell upon his sleeping form, his features relaxed in the embrace of slumber. With a faint smile playing at the corners of his lips, Hyunjin couldn't help but feel a sense of relief wash over him. It had been a restless night for both of them, and seeing Jeongin finally finding some facade of peace brought a measure of comfort to Hyunjin's weary heart

Hyunjin moved about the room adjusted the curtains, drawing them closed to block out the growing light of dawn, creating a cocoon of darkness and calmness around Jeongin's bed.

He turned his focus, making sure that there were no sudden sounds or disturbances that could disrupt Jeongin's rest. He lowered the volume on his phone and silenced any notifications, ensuring that the room remained peaceful and serene
