Upon arriving at the Guild Hall, Ben was exhausted. He'd never run that far or pushed himself that hard as Wildmutt before, so he just wanted to relax. Ben walked over to his stuff that he'd handed to Mira before he'd left and picked it up. "Oh, sorry about that Ben. After you left things just started to get too hectic and I couldn't find time to put your stuff away." Mira apologized. "Oh, that's ok. You seem pretty busy; do you not have anyone to help you?" Ben asked. "Nope it's just me." Mira responded. "Maybe you should get some help. You'd be able to find some time to breath. Especially, given how rowdy this place is." Ben told her. This got her to giggle which made Ben blush. "Aww, would ya look at that. He's blushing." The brown-haired woman in a blue bikini top from earlier teased. Just looking at caused Ben to blush like mad. "Cana, be nice to Ben." Mira said. "Sorry, sorry. Just seemed like an easy mark." Cana said. "Well, in all fairness your appearance can cause people to blush too." Ben remarked. "Oh, you saying I show too much skin?" Can asked teasingly. "Never said it was your outfit that caused it." Ben said. This caused Cana to go quiet and look the other way as she drank from her glass. Ben was confused but Mira smiled with a knowing look. "Anyways I'm gonna relax." Ben said and began to head for the door. He was halfway to the door when Natsu asked. "Where are ya goin'?" "I just need some sleep and to winddown. It's been a long day, ya know?" Ben said. "Then why are you leaving?" Happy asked. "Cause I gotta go- I just remembered I'm homeless." Ben deadpanned upon realizing he was living in the Guild until he had a house. This caused both Happy and Natsu to double over in laughter. "Guys don't be so mean to Ben!" Lucy told them off. Unfortunately, she was unable to get them to stop laughing as other members of the Guild had also found it... quite funny. She sighed and got up. "Sorry, Ben. I don't think they're gonna listen to me." "No problem. You did what you could. And in all fairness it is pretty funny. ...Hey, where are you going?" Ben asked. "Oh, I'm going to go get some rest. You weren't wrong, today's been a really long day. I just need a good soak and some sleep." Lucy responded. "Oh, you got a house when you got to town?" Ben asked. This caused Lucy to stop in her tracks. She then turned to face him and said. "I forgot to get a house! Maybe I can still get one if I hurry!" And with that she shot off like a rocket out of the Guild Hall that was now filled with raucous laughter from all the Guild Members, spare Ben who only chuckled and walked toward the storage room he would be using until further notice.

It'd been a few days since Ben had joined Fairy Tail. And since then, he'd bought a plot of land and constructed himself a quaint and cozy looking, two story, log cabin style house. It had a wrap-around deck, fairly decent sized windows, a patio out back, with another smaller deck that led to a French Glass Door that led inside. It looked like it was out of a story book but slightly modernized. Connected to it was a three story, stone tower with a short, wooden conical roof that hung over the sides and the tower itself had bay windows. Going inside all the furnishings had been handcrafted by Ben himself. The amount of windows let in enough natural light that the house never had to be artificially lit during the day, unless during a storm. He didn't have any decorations, but Ben decided any decor he'd either buy from towns and cities or get some other way like when on a Quest. Out on the patio was a grill he'd made and a large square picnic table with benches. It was at this point he was glad his mom became a house flipper, cause without being there to listen to all the stuff she did, he probably wouldn't have been able to make a house as fast as he did. Granted he did it with the help of his aliens. But, he also thanked his dad's expertise as a civil engineer cause he wouldn't have been able to do half the shit he did had he not gone with his dad on bring your son to work days. But, now came the difficult part. Learning about the world, Ben already has it mapped out in his head, but he wants charts and maps so that way no one would get suspicious. He also needed to fill up his reading tower as he called it. Ben planned to use some of his down time as study time, something he really didn't like to do, but he was stuck in another universe that was so foreign to him that he was struggling to keep up and understand anything. He needed information, because as he learned so many times before information was key. And he knew exactly who to go to for information on anything and everything he'd need. His Guild Master, Master Makarov. And so off to the Guild he went.
