MAYBE ALEX WAS right, Sarah was good in making discussions and sharing her opinions when they weren't needed. She couldn't help but be unnecessarily rude or a little too honest.

Still, someone like Sarah Kate made things interesting and she would you a slap in the face if it was needed. She wouldn't change herself, even if it meant having a couple of fights every now and then.

It had been a day or three after the complete mess Cole had made at the awards dinner and the brunette laid on her bed, staring at the ceiling. Her eyes would occasionally drift off to her phone, thinking back to last night when she had read the first sentence. Immediately, she knew she made a mistake.

Her father wasn't coming back, she could sense it. Things wouldn't be temporary.

Sarah decided she would let herself get used to the thoughts of never seeing her parents again, before she opened the text fully.

Her fingers trailed along side the paintings hanging on the wall and she wondered if Katherine would mind if she would leave her own little inspiration on it as well. She missed painting and it would be nice to have something to do.

Within seconds, Sarah found herself standing in the kitchen, looking for Katherine. To her dismay, she wasn't there, but instead found Danny learning his lines. "Morning,"

"Morning," He murmured in between his coffee.

"Where is your mom?"

"At work. She had an emergency call."

Nodding, Sarah leaned back against the counter. "Can I help?" She tilted her head to his script. "I helped Isaac. Sort of."

Chuckling, Danny shook his head with a sincere smile. "I'm okay, thank you though." He folded the paper and sighed. "I would enjoy learning it more if I had a different role."

Her lips fell into a thin line. "You mean, Isaac's?"

"Yeah." Danny scratched the back of his neck. "No, it's awful. I'm good, this role is. . . good, great even."

"It's not." Sarah shook her head as she stepped forwards. "Danny, I've watched a couple of your plays and I know you always play the side roles. It's okay to want to be in the spotlight for once."
