Prologue
My lungs felt like they were ready to become alight, burning my body to ashes from the inside-out while my heart felt as though it was ready to leap out of my chest ready to save itself from the scorching pain inside.
It's for the better.
It was the only thought that had echoed throughout my journey, helping me tolerate the pain, but I knew it was blind optimism to even believe I stood a chance when all I had known my whole life was how to be obedient to the Crown.
I didn't know what I was running to, but I knew what I was running from. The thought of having to always submit to a man I was only marrying to keep my family happy and to take over their positions in the Kingdom.
It's for the better.
I tell myself again, focusing on pushing past the aching pain that flooded my body that I hadn't realised the border I had ran straight over, only realising when I stood in the centre of their territory.
"Fuck."

Authors NotesHey random readers/listeners, I just wanted to pop by and tell you a little about myself and what influenced me to write The Crowned Princess.
I'm 22 (maybe a little old to be on here lmao), and I have been a reader on Wattpad since I was 13. Since I was 14-15 I have been writing silly little stories on here with terrible grammar and unfortunately not a lot has changed :P
What got me into reading on Wattpad was my obsession with the game Episode, but sadly I wasn't made of money to buy tickets or gems, so I came to the next best place... here.
I've always been a fan of the Romance genre and Teen Fiction, and soon I developed an interest in Werewolf books.
I originally planned on writing a book called 'The Devils Blessing' which was based on a dream I had and shared with a friend in lockdown times who also had weird dreams like me, and soon we had developed a whole story around a little fox and her mate.
Unfortunately I get bad writers block, especially when it comes to books I adore and hate to let down.
So 6 months after coming up with a plan for that book, I had a dream about running in the woods in a wedding dress, and soon I had developed another plot for a Werewolf story.
I hope you guys enjoy, please ignore any spelling/ grammar mistakes, and I hope you can enjoy something that once was a small dream inside my head that has made it into a book for you to read (:
Now a question for you: Where did you find this book? And what made you want to read?
Please let me know, and if you have any more questions I'll happily let you know.
Anyway, enjoy starshine⭐️
