Eclipse suddenly stops in his tracks. They are both right there in front of the exit. "Uh Eclipse? What's wrong?" Sundrop tilts his head curiously. Eclipse sighs and asked. "Do you really need to go right this minute?" "Well... Um... Yeah? Moondrop is probably very worried about me..." "I know but can't we... Stay here together for a bit longer...? Please" Eclipse grabs Sundrop's hand with a tighter grip. "Eclipse what has gotten into you all of a sudden?" Sundrop said with a hint of annoyance in his voice.
Eclipse pulls Sundrop close and leans in. "Please, Starlight...? Just a few more minutes..." Eclipse whispered. Sundrop blushes a bit and checks the time on his watch. "11:47... Alright... Just a fe-" Sundrop suddenly gets kissed by Eclipse. It wasn't just a small little peck. The kiss was passionate and deep... Sundrop couldn't help but lean into the kiss. Eclipse wrapped his arms around Sundrop's waist. Eclipse grips Sundrop's chin, holding their lips together tightly. his breathing growing even shorter, his fingers grazing Sundrop's cheek as he leans even closer, pressing their lips together, his hands moving to hold his face, his lips pressing hard against Sundrop's.
Eventually Eclipse pulls away. He pants a bit. Breathing heavily and quickly. Sundrop is just frozen in place. It takes a good hot minute for Sundrop to process what happened just now. He pulls away and avoids Eclipse's eyes. "I uh... G-gotta go..." Eclipse doesn't stop or do anything. He just let Sundrop walk out. Sundrop wipes the drool off his chin and leaves the PizzaPlex. The whole way toward the apartment is just Sundrop walking down the sidewalk with crossed arms like he's cold. Sundrop mumbled quietly to himself as he walked. He can't forget the kiss...
(Moondrop's POV real quick) Moondrop was sitting down on the couch in the living room until he heard the front door open. Sundrop finally arrived. Moondrop immediately got up and rushed over towards the door. Sundrop entered the room. He felt Moondrop wrap his arms around him.
"I'm back~..." Sundrop smiles
"What took you so long, Sunshine? Are you okay!? Sunshine!" Moondrop says. His voice and body language full of nothing but concern.
"I'm okay, Moony." Sundrop hugs back
"Did Eclipse...do...anything?" Moondrop mumbled and looked away.
"Yeah," Sundrop's smile faded a bit.
"Like what?" Moondrop's tone is stern.
"He hugged me and kept talking nonstop"
"Oh... That's good. You look tired, Sunshine"
"Do I?" Sundrop tilts his head. Moondrop nods.
Moondrop holds Sundrop close and kisses his forehead. "You wanna go to bed, Sunshine?" Sundrop yawns and nods. He holds Moondrop's hand as they began to walk to bed together. They enter their bedroom and the first thing Sundrop does is plop on the bed. Sundrop groans in annoyance with everything that has happened tonight. Moondrop rolls his eyes and sits up on the bed. He pulls Sundrop in his lap. Letting Sundrop curl up and cling onto him.
"How long was I gOOonNneEee...?" Sundrop whines and kicks his legs a bit as his face is buried in Moondrop's chest.
"Only for about 5 hours and 28 minutes, why?"
Sundrop perks up. "Uh-what now?" Sundrop sit up again on Moondrop's lap. "About 5 hours and 28 minutes" Sundrop's jaw drops slightly. "That can't be right" "It's 100% correct" "I'm sorry..." "It's alright, Sunshine. At least you and Eclipse got some friend bonding in" Sundrop sighs and nods.
