Kaname Kuran x Dying reader (😥angst😥)

Warning: this one-shot will have depression so, if u don't like depression then don't read this one. Either way, read with caution

Past: Kaname and Y/N were leaving Cross Academy to go hunting for Level E's. Y/N is an aristocrat vampire with h/l h/c hair, e/c eyes, and s/t skin. The two were in a forest far away from Cross Academy. Y/N was about to kill a level E, but a knife came out of nowhere and hit her chest. She fell to the ground.

Present: Kaname ran over to Y/N and saw the knife. He kneeled beside her and looked at her. He noticed that her e/c eyes were losing their color. He noticed that her s/t skin was going very pale. He then looked back at the knife and asked,
"Why? Why would someone want to kill my lover?"
"I-I was your lover, Lord Kaname?" Y/N asked softly and very quietly.

Kaname looked at his lover and said,
"Yes, I didn't want to tell you, but now you're dying. Whoever killed you I shall kill them."

Y/N smiled her very last smile and closed her eyes. The very last thing she said was,
"Goodbye, Lord Kaname. Just so you know, I love you too."

Then she took out the knife and turned it into sand. Kaname took the knife and threw it as far as he could. He then just stayed there and cried.

Once he got back to Cross Academy, he only stayed in his room he never left it. Everyone except for Senri, Emily, and Rima was worried about him.
