Battle Of Edolas Part 2

Nighttime

Faust had used the Dragon Chain Cannon, a weapon designed for Exceeds' destruction. This weapon was powered by the magic of Dragon Slayers Natsu and Wendy.

A huge chain with a sort of "Dragon's head" was attached to the main base of the island. Then, the long chain would allow control of the movement of the island, directing it towards Extalia.

Natsu and others were heading towards the Lacrima island, which was moving towards Edolas. They planned to stop it.

They rode a Legion, which belonged to Coco. The Legion gave a mighty roar as it slammed into the base of the floating island to stop it, but it only slowed it down marginally. The red energy blew with the wind as everyone on top of the Legion was enveloped in it.

"Let's use our magic to stop it," Erza suggested.

Natsu ran straight up towards the base of the speeding Lacrima island. He stood on top of the Legion's head.

"Come on! Out of my way!" Natsu exclaimed as he grabbed onto the Lacrima base and tried to push it back with his own strength. An orange Dragon Slayer magic circle formed at his hands as he pushed.

"Natsu!"

Natsu looked up slightly and saw Happy flying down towards them. He stopped in the air as the blue cat looked towards his best friend.

"Natsu... I'm sorry... I didn't mean..." He said, referring to when he and Carla accidentally led everyone into that trap in the mines.

A smirk formed on Natsu's face. "Come on, give me a hand buddy."

This earned a smile from Happy. "Aye sir!"

He flew down to join his friends in keeping the island back.

A bloodied Gajeel slowly got up, panting heavily. Lily was sitting on the ground, upset he had been played like a dog.

"I guess I was nothing more than a stupid exiled cat," Lily said, disappointment in his tone.

That disappointment wasn't towards anyone but towards himself. He couldn't see it, but he should have. He decided to trust Tenma of all people.The man who was known as the First Son Of Chaos.He trusted that man and now he was paying the price.

The bloodied Gajeel got up and walked towards the incoming island. He wanted to help his friend.

"We'll finish this later," Gajeel assured. "Just let me stop this thing first, then I'll beat you!"

"You can't stop the Dragon Chain and the island," Lily blankly stated. It was as if there was nothing for them. They were just going to die. "We are all dead."

Gajeel pointed towards Lily with a confident smirk. "We ain't dying!Making impossibility a possibility is a common thing in this stupid guild.When this is over, you're coming to Fairy Tail. You'll be my cat even if I have to drag you there!"

Gajeel coughed blood violently and fell to his knees once again, but still stood up and headed forward.

"You can't even walk straight and yet," Lily said, shocked and bewildered by Gajeel's determination.

Gray, Lucy, Erza, even Coco, joined Natsu and Happy in trying to push the Lacrima back, but all they did was slow it down.

"WE'RE STILL GONNA COLLIDE!" Gray exclaimed.

"NO!" Lucy shouted.

"GIVE IT EVERYTHING YOU'VE GOT!" Erza exclaimed.

Natsu growled as he tried to push back as well. "NO! IT WON'T END!"
