Kim's POV

After showering and dressing up, I left my room and proceeded towards the hallway. Upon reaching, I heard voices laughing and talking. I followed the sounds and arrived at the kitchen, where I saw Chay and Mother conversing and laughing together. I was shocked and confused. How did this happen? Yesterday Mother was ready to kill Porchay, and now this.

"Ehem," I coughed to gain their attention. They turned around, giving me different expressions - nervousness from my mother and a smile from my angel, to brighten my day.

"Porchay, didn't I tell you not to leave the room?" I said sternly. Chay watched me nervously.

"Sorry, Phi, but I was starving. That's why," he apologized, but it wasn't enough for me because the one who tried to kill him was now trying to get closer to him.

"Kim, he was with me, you don't-" Mother was about to say something, but I stopped her.

"Did I ask you?" I interrupted firmly. She gave me a pained expression and averted her gaze.

Chay walked to me and hugged me. "I am sorry, Phi Kim." And who am I not to melt at this, I had to compose myself.

"Go and wait for me in the living room, okay," I stated.

"But Phi-"

"Did I ask? It's an order, angel, that you must obey," I said in a strict tone.

"Okay," he pouted at me before leaving. 'I am gonna wreck you, baby, if you keep doing this.'

I sighed before turning towards Mother. She still had the same expression. I walked to her. "What is your plan this time?"

She watched me as if I had done something wrong. "Why are you doubting me, Kim?"

"Hah, you are the one who tried to kill him, and you are asking me why I am doubting you?" I spat. "Mom, I've always respected your decisions, but this time you've crossed the limit."

"I am sorry. What I did was wrong, but I understand your feelings for Chay, and I have already accepted this."

"Please, Mother, don't test me. I've had enough. I know you would never change, not even for me, so please," I said, leaving the place immediately to avoid creating a scene.

After leaving the kitchen, I saw Chay playing with his food and muttering something in the dining hall.

I approached his direction and back-hugged him. He stiffened for a second but soon realised and tried to remove my grasp but no no no he was not that strong. "What happened chay are you angry at me?"

But he didn't answer I sighed and took my seat beside him. "Angel plz answer me." But he only turned his face towards the other side.

I grabbed his shoulders and made him face me, his eyes were a bit glossy and his lips were pouted, I sighed and gave in. "I am sorry angel, sorry for the rude behaviour but you have to understand I care for you," I said with a concerned face.
