Rushing through the now empty corridors of Teyvat Academy always seemed to be a routine for you, except this time, an unexpected twist of fate would occur. Maybe for better, maybe for worse, who knows ?

Being late was something you were not unaccustomed to as you frequently happened to be tardy - for classes, events...clubs.. Anything really, but today was much worse. After falling asleep through the last period, you were 20 minutes late for Baking Club, which meant they started their session of learning to make macarons- a session you were looking forward to all week. While running through the halls, trying to make it on time to the club, you zipped past various other club rooms and empty classes. In the midst of all your rushing, from the corner of your eye you caught sight of ash blonde hair, pulled back and bright turquoise eyes, causing you to trip over your own feet causing  you to immediately face plant into the floor, resulting in a loud thud. Your bag falling off your shoulder resulting in the contents spilling, including your polaroid camera, the screen now cracked from the impact of the fall.

Albedo, the boy Y/N, had caught a glimpse of was sketching away on a canvas in an empty classroom, lost in his own world before his thoughts were disrupted by a loud thud. Jumping slightly at the loud sound, he narrowed his eyes and gripped the charcoal pencil in his hand tighter, staring at the door- The noise came from right outside. He cautiously approached the door, twisting the handle before opening the door fully, prepared for the worst - only to be met with nothing. He looked both ways down the hall, surveying the area before he heard a pained groan and looked down, finding our dear Y/N sitting on the floor, holding their ankle in pain while simultaneously rubbing their head, the mess of their scattered items around them.
Y/N had yet to notice Albedo until he came into their line of sight, kneeling in front and offering a hand.

"Are you alright?" He softly inquired, with that same monotone voice of his, a hint of concern hidden within his tone.

Y/n, looking up upon hearing his voice, their eyes slightly widening when seeing him.The way his bangs framed his face as he stared down at them with those turquoise eyes of his, Y/n was internally panicking, feeling their face heating up. They were stuck in a daze only to pulled out by his voice as he repeated his question, a hint of confusion added to his tone as he noticed their constant staring and the redness on their face.

"Uh..oh? Me? Im..I'm fine. I'm amazing. I am absolutely wonderful!-" Y/N chuckled as they stood up quickly, pain rushing to their ankle , a look of discomfort on their face but they quickly brushed it off with a nervous but excited laugh, giving Albedo a silly smile.

"Are you sure? You seem to be in pain.. Where does it hurt?" He stood up, moving closer to them and examining them head to toe while waiting for a response.

"Oh..uhh..well my ankle..but it's bearable!" They quickly brush it off and act as if it's fine, walking around as if to prove their statement, but failing miserably as they stumbled around.

Sighing, Albedo walked ahead before signaling them to follow him. Y/N followed after, quickly shoving their belongings into their bag. As they picked up their camera they frowned noticing the cracked screen but thankful the damage was minimal, making a mental note to fix it later in the week. They walked beside him,trying to match his pace as they studied his features once more. Ashe blonde hair, messily tied back into a half ponytail , a light brown sweater over his uniform, the collar of his shirt resting on the outer edges of the sweater with a pair of round frame glasses tucked in them.

After a short walking distance, the boy turned , entering a room. Glancing up the sign on top read "INFIRMARY " in bold letters. I followed after, and he instructed me to sit on the sick bay bed. My gaze followed him, watching as he shuffled around some items, pulling out a tube and a roll of bandages. He came up next to me before speaking again.

"Lie back on the bed and extend the ankle that's hurting," He instructed while taking a seat on a stool near the bed before he continued. "May I?" He gestured to the supplies in his hand then at my ankle. I nodded and proceeded to do as he instructed, watching carefully as he worked. At first, when he applied the cream, which had a smooth texture and a cold feeling to it, I shifted my ankle a bit grimacing at the slight discomfort and pain I was experiencing at that time. I watched with curious eyes as he worked, applying the cream before taking the roll of bandaged and wrapping my ankle to a good degree before cutting the edge and securing the end.

He stepped back, letting out a small hum as he packed away the supplies neatly and turned to me once again.
"Where were you heading by chance?" He asked while walking to the exit, most likely going to call someone to check up on me.
"Oh, uh, the baking club..." I responded, watching as he walked out of the infirmary before calling after."Make sure to ask for Kokomi!" No reply..hm I wonder if he heard me.

Gazing around the infirmary room, my eyes wandering all over, not settling for a moment. The familiar sound foot steps echoing became closer before I heard an ever so familiar voice.

"Y/n! Are you alright?" She spoke, concern most evident in her tone, a matching expression of worry painting her face. Soft lilac eyes gazing back at mine, with her baby pink hair swaying as she approached the bed.

"Kokomi..! I'm good!" I stated with a cheery grin, watching as her expression shifted to a soft smile.
"Are you sure? I heard what happened... how did you even fall.." She inquired her voice as smooth like silk as she took a seat on the edge of the bed.
"Ahh, it's a long story.." She hummed at my response before Albedo spoke.
"I will be taking my leave..please rest up and take care.." he muttered, in his same tone of voice before exiting the room, a sigh escaping my lips as I watched him leave.
"Goodbye, Albedo," kokomi waved, the same smile on her face as she bid farewell to the boy.

...Albedo...so that's his name..

I was thinking if I should remake it into a scara x reader cus he's kinda popular with fanfics but decided not too cause we need more albedo fanfics ‼️💪💪💪
