Yori POV•

I walked for a little while and finally arrived at school. While walking I didn't notice my only friend, Minato walking beside me. "Good Morning!" I said in my usual cheerful voice. "Morning," Minato said in his usual voice.

"Do you have some time later today?" I asked him. "Yeah, why?" He asked while looking at me. "I have to tell you something," I said with a small giggle and walked into the classroom.

•Time: 4:56 pm, Place: Yoshikawa School

I waited for Minato outside of the school campus so we could walk home and I could tell him something. It didn't take a long time to wait until he arrived. After he did, we walked in the direction of our homes.

After a while of walking, I turned around and looked him in the eyes. "Minato-kun, didn't you say that we are friends? You also said that you wanted to hang out with me in secret. In a secret hideout where we can be just ourselves right? I think I have found the right spot!" I said in a cheerful voice.

I saw his face light up and he immediately asked me where it was. "Are you free this Saturday? I'm planning to go there on Saturday." I asked while waving my toy around.
I also seemed to notice that he also wanted one. I've seen him look at it and his eyes peaked with curiosity, wondering how it worked.

"Ri... Yori!" Minato said, "Huh?" I asked him since I didn't hear what he said. "What time do I need to prepare?" Minato said while chuckling a bit. "Oh, is two pm fine?" I asked him as he nodded his head. We both walked to our homes in silence.

After a while, we arrived at his house and I said goodbye to him. At least I'm free this Sunday! I can't wait for next week.

*Saturday, Time: 1:40 pm, Place: Mugino Household*

•Minato POV•

After lunch, I made sure to tell my mom that I was headed out with a friend. She said to be back before nightfall and I just nodded. As soon as I got out, I got on my bicycle and went to Hoshikawa-Kun's house.

Once I arrived at his place, I waited for him outside. After a while, he came out with a small bag, and we went to his secret place. The bike there was nice. We arrived after a few minutes of cycling. We both parked our bikes near the side of the road.

We walked along a small path in the forest. "Primrose!" Yori-kun said happily while pointing to the flower. "Blue-star creeper!" He said again while smiling at me and his hand pointed to the flower.

I felt butterflies in my stomach. Why am I feeling this though? But... His smile is just so pretty! I feel like I could melt Into it. I was snapped out of my thoughts when Yori-kun played with his toy.

I wanted one as well, But I'm too shy to ask. "Why do you know flower names?" I asked him out of curiosity. "Why? Is it bad?" Hoshikawa-kun said with a hint of sadness in his voice. I felt bad so... "No! It's not! My mom just said learning flowers is for girls." I said to not make him sad.

"Huh? Flowers can be learned by anyone silly. It doesn't mean I learn flowers and I'm a girl." Hoshikawa-kun said while smiling. Although he has a point, learning about flowers does not mean you're a girl. It's normal for anyone to learn it, with any gender.

I was snapped out of my thoughts when Yori-kun was going into the dark tunnel. I was scared of the dark so I didn't want to go in. I saw Yori-kun's eyes soften. "Are you scared of the dark? Don't worry I'm here! Hold my hand if you're scared. You should also turn on the flashlight of your phone." Yori-kun said to me while walking back to me. He stood in front of me and held his hand out.

I took his hand, turned on my phone, and got my flashlight turned on. He led me into the tunnel while making sure I didn't step into the small stream of water. I pointed my flashlight around to see my surroundings.

Soon we reached the other side I saw some tall trees and greenery on the other side. There was a ladder to get up and I made sure Hoshikawa-kun was first so I could make sure he won't fall. After him, I climbed the ladder with Hoshikawa-kun helping me up by holding my hand and pulling me up.

Once I reached the top I saw an abandoned train in the middle of the greenery. This place was just perfect! We went onto the train and it was cozy. It was still in a nice condition.
