Night 2

I couldn't help but smile grimly as Phone Man (that's what I'm calling him now) congratulated me on making it to my second night at this place. In all honesty, it was too easy, especially with the fan turned off. No animatronics stuffing me into a suit! No siree! Not yesterday, and hopefully not today either.
Hopefully...

Phone Man also mentioned that the "character" in Pirate Cove was going to need watching. Like, c'mon, man! I know who Foxy is! Thanks for the tips, anyway.

I leaned back in my chair, stretched a little, and got to work on the cams. I quickly realized one thing though; I didn't really need them for any of the animatronics except Foxy. I know they were pretty useful and stuff, but I had my ears and eyes. If I just strained them a little, I could hear and see the animatronics coming. And Freddy only comes when the power's out, according to Phonie (new nickname, I guess), so I really didn't need to worry about him. If the power's out, I'm screwed anyway. So I kept my senses out for animatronics near my door and checked on Foxy once in a while. Easy-peasy lemon squeezy, right?

It's Me It's Me It's Me It's Me It's Me It's Me It's Me It's Me It's Me It's Me It's Me It's Me It's Me It's

"WHAT THE---!?"

It took me a moment to comprehend what I was looking at... only to realize that I knew it too well. It was the animatronic that haunted my nightmares. Fredbear.

I would describe how he looked if I could, but I couldn't get a very good look at him. The constant chanting of "It's Me" caused a loud ringing in my ears and a pounding headache, and my vision was going blurry. I could make out that the golden, bear animatronic was slumped over on one side, and pretty much immobile, but that's it.

I had no idea how to get rid of it, and I panicked. First, I decided to make a dash for it, since the Exits were right outside my office, but then, I remembered that they were locked at night. From the outside. I was trapped.

In a desperate attempt to save myself, I hid behind the camera monitor. I wasn't thinking straight. I just wanted the chanting and the headache to stop. I wanted it all to stop!

And then it did. My vision cleared. I could see and hear clearly again. I could--
Wait. Where'd Foxy go?

I heard metallic banging coming on my left side, kind of like footsteps. I rushed to the door as quickly as I could and pressed the button in the nick of time. Immediately after that, I heard a loud clang against the door. I checked my power level. It had dropped, and despite my minimal use of cameras, it was dangerously low.
Fortunately, there wasn't much time left on the clock, and soon, I heard the gonging of pre-recorded bells and children screaming in joy.

Phew! I thought. It's over!
