After 15 minutes, I spotted Myra, who was looking for a vase. It was obvious that she was in a rush and would trip, causing the vase to fall. She is now reaching on her tiptoes to grab it. I can see her straining to keep her balance, and I grabbed her waist just in time for the impending calamity. With my other hand on the shelf to prevent it from falling, I said "Watch out!"
"You all good?" I asked her, smiling, as she gasped. She nodded and was ready to say something—perhaps a thank you? But stopped when I said, "Shouldn't you be looking for something that is reachable for your height?" She looked at me like she was about to bury me alive, but I didn't mind. I leaned forward and gave her back a soft pat. That I was present today, of course, spared her, but next time? With whom will she be saved? Poor little dumpling.
Yes, I did like her, "love" is way too much, as of now. She makes occasional stupid decisions, which makes her dumb yet cute, but other than that, I've always liked her and, she disappeared again. God knows where or what else she could screw up. I sighed and looked around, glancing at the items. When I turned back, I saw her standing behind me, which nearly made me scream, but NO, there's a girl you liked years ago. Act cool, act cool. I cleared my throat and chuckled at her. She gently poked my shoulder, like a small child who acts innocent when they mess or fuck up something. Wait, don't tell me that she broke something already. "What is it?" I inquired, and she grasped my jacket with her fingers and drew me closer. IS SHE INTENDING TO KISS ME? BUT here? GOD, I KNOW SHE IS DUMB, BUT SHE NEVER WAS THIS DUMB.
"We can't kiss here, Myra," I whispered, trying to maintain composure. She slapped my shoulder gently and pulled me down to her level, only to bite it. This time I did scream, "Vengeance taken" she grinned. Since when did dumplings begin biting people?

God has no mercy on me. I've been trying to talk with Tanya ever since I saw her, but neither he nor she has been supportive of my efforts. "Look, Tani, I'm sorry, I kno-"
"Save your apologies for someone who cares," Tanya interrupted, her eyes flashing with annoyance. I gently held her hand as she started to walk away in an attempt to stop her. She gazed at me, trying to get free from my grip. "I'll let you go for now but remember that I won't give up on us."
