My jaw literally dropped when I saw the wedding venue's decor. The attention to detail and elegance was truly breathtaking. I'd never been to a wedding before, and I was astounded by how beautiful everything was. The flowers, lighting, and overall ambiance created a magical atmosphere that I'll never forget. Now I really want to get married. It gave off an enchanted, fairytale-like vibe. I wonder how Myra would look today, I'm sure she'd be stunning. For a second, my heart raced. I need to stay calm. Stay calm.
Looking smart in their clothing, I noticed Rohan and Ayaan making their way to the ceremony. We grinned as we greeted one another, took our seats, and anxiously anticipated the beautiful ceremony that was about to begin. And there, I spotted Myra, who looked stunning in her lavender outfit with delicate lace detailing. I couldn't take my eyes off her. She was greeting guests with a warm smile. "Done staring?" Ayaan gave me a playful shove with his elbow. I chuckled nervously. "Sorry, I just can't help it. She looks beautiful," I replied, holding my smile, to which I failed badly. "Why not confess your feelings to her?" Rohan suggested, raising an eyebrow mischievously. I can't do that yet, and I don't think I can either. I knew her for a long time, and we weren't particularly close, but we were aware of each other's existence. I didn't want to risk our friendship by confessing my feelings too soon. Plus, I wasn't sure if she felt the same way about me. "Not sure if she feels the same way," I mumbled, feeling a wave of uncertainty wash over me. Rohan chuckled, patting my back in a comforting manner. "You'll never know unless you try." He's actually right, I never really tried to find out how she felt.
"Am I interrupting something?" I turned to see Myra standing behind us, with a smile. "No, not at all," I replied quickly, trying to hide my nerves. Lord, I was so close to being cooked, raw. She took the seat next to me, and Ayaan cleared his throat. "Well- uh- We're gonna go have a drink, you guys carry on." Rohan said, and they stood up, leaving me and Myra.
"Have fun, you guys." she smiled at them. I internally screamed as I realized I was now alone with Myra, unsure of what to say or do next, but I was also happy that they left us alone. "You look beautiful" I blurted out, hoping to break the awkward silence. Myra's cheeks turned a shade of pink as she thanked me shyly and we talked for a few minutes about the decorations.
"Well then, I'll go check up on others and get back to you." She stood up, giving me a small smile. "Sure," I replied. "Make sure you click good photos of me after I get back." I laughed and gave her a nod. Last time, I clicked around a hundred photos, but today, even a thousand pictures wouldn't do her beauty justice.
