Soojin's POV

The events of yesterday kept replaying in my mind like a broken record, one I couldn't stop listening to. As I sat in our kitchen eating cereal for breakfast, Y/n's words echoed in my head once more. The conversation we had at the beach felt surreal, like a fleeting dream. It felt real. No. It was real.

I don't know anymore. Maybe, it was just drunk thoughts?

"Oh, hi?" Y/n said, suddenly coming in the kitchen. I thought she'd be mad, but no. She's just her usual self.

"Hey." I answered her. "Why are you here?"

"I'm here to pick Soyeon up. She wanted to hang out," she stated with a chuckle. "But since you're here. I need to talk to you about yesterday." She said her demeanor changing.

She sighed and looked at me straight in the eye, "Forget about it. Okay? I didn't get annoyed. I didn't get mad. And please make up with Minnie, it's been really hard for her so, be nice. This is not an order but a favor. Not for me, but for Minnie," that's what she said before grabbing a glass of milk and left.

When did life become so confusing?

.-.

Minnie's POV

"Minmin? Milk?" Y/n called softly as she entered my room, carrying a glass of milk and wearing a warm, radiant smile. Her presence lit up my dark room. I'd love to see this every morning . Her kindness and the simple gesture made my heart swell with affection.

"Hi!" I greeted her with a bright smile. "And yes please!" I said and grabbed the glass then started to drink from it.

She giggled. "How was your sleep? Did you sleep well?" She asked with a soft and calm voice.

I nodded my head with a smile.

"That's good. Soyeon told me to bring you a glass of milk before we head out," she stated.

"Huh? You're leaving with Soyeon? Where?" I asked curiously. I thought she brought me the milk because she wanted to. She only brought me this because Soyeon told her to? I thought-

"Minmin? You okay? Penny for your thoughts?" Y/n said as she waved her hand in my face.

"Yeah. So where?" She giggled.

"I told you, Soyeon haven't told me yet. She told me it's a surprise."

"Oh. If that's the case, you can go now," I said nonchalantly, avoiding her eyes. I kept my voice steady and focused on a spot on the floor, trying to mask any emotion. The air felt heavy, but I maintained a neutral expression, not wanting her to see how much it affected me.

"You okay?"

"Yeah," No.

"You can go now".

"Okay? See you later, I guess?" She said and left the room.

'I have to stop this feeling. It's only been 3 months since we met.'

.-.

Y/n's POV

After I left Minnie's room, I met up with Soyeon, who was already in my car, waiting. She's on her phone, typing something.

I opened the driver's door. "Hey. What are you looking up?" I asked as she looked up from her phone to look at me.

"Oh, just school stuff you know?" She said and shrugged.

I nodded at her.

.-.

Soyeon's POV

'Oh my God. Thank God she didn't see what I searched for'

I looked at my phone again.
