As the stars from deep space shined across the vast universe in a transport ship Alliance Soldiers who were given shore leave travelled to a human colony known as Elysium in a star cluster known as the Skyllian Verge.

Vincent POV:
"Hey Vince. Check this out." Commander Shepherd, My mentor and fellow soldier, said as I walked over and looked out the window at the utopia we knew as Elysium.
"It's amazing Jane." I said as we started to descend.
"Ladies and gentlemen. Welcome to Elysium." Our pilot said through the intercom before we landed to which the pilot lowered the hangar letting us all grab our stuff and walk off the ship.

"So. What do you think?" Jane asked as we stared out at the colony.
"Too many blind spots and these entrances could have us surrounded in no time." I said taking note of all the possible ways enemies could invade.
"Vince you are in desperate need of relaxing." Jane said with a soft smile before she grabbed my hand and started dragging me into the city.
One Hour Later...
In a bar placed in the middle of Elysium Jane and Vincent sat both heavily intoxicated.
