Nothing is as weird as that man and that blue box. I run home to my best friend Alyssa. She is not the smartest girl, but she is amazing. Apart for her obsession of basketball. I hate sport. But that doesn't stop her from changing the channel in the middle of my Teen Wolf.
I go to our shared apartment. I ran up 3 flights of stairs, walk past many doors and smile at my neighbour Georgia. I walk into the door and was greeted by Alyssa yelling at the TV screen. "Nice to see you to, Aly." I laugh as she looks at me confused.
I walk to my room and flop onto my bed. "You're not meant to be home yet. Your class is still going." "Not anymore!" I yell back to the basketball freak. "Skiped?" She asked as she magically came to my door.
"Yep." I say, popping the 'p'. She walked away as I get up. I'm looking for something, but I don't know what. "ALISON! GET OUT HERE NOW!" Alyssa yells. "I'M BUSY!" I yell back. "IT'S A BLUE BOX IN OUR LIVING ROOM!" No! Way! I ran into the living room where Alyssa was.
I see it. A blue box. Police Public Call Box. No way. I smile at the box. "Hello, Doctor." I say to the box. The man from before opens the door. "Hello, girl who runs." The man says. "Why is there a box in my living room?" Alyssa asked me. "No reason. Just thought I'll drop by before I go." "Where are you going?" But before he could answer he closes the blue door in my face. A loud bang comes from inside the box. The windows light up.
I take a step back and look at Alyssa. I waited until the doors open up again. A completely different man opens the doors. "Oh, this is different, Hello girl who runs." The man says. I look at Alyssa in complete shock.
"Alison." I say. "Who?" The man asks. "Me, I'm Alison." "Well, that's better than girl who runs." He says with a smile. "I don't mean to be rude but, who are you?" Alyssa asked. "The Doctor." "Doctor Who?" Alyssa asks. "Nope. Just the Doctor."
"No, the doctor has a different face, body different everything." I say. "I have something to say to you two but I don't know what." I walk over to Alyssa as the Doctor thinks. "Who is that idiot?" Alyssa asks. "I have no idea." I say. "I've got it!" The Doctor shouts. "Merry Christmas!" He then falls to the ground.
Nope. I look at Alyssa, and she is already looking at me. The Doctor shots up and looks at the two of us. "I better get going." The Doctor says. We just stare at the weird man. "One more thing Alison, am I ginger?" I smiled and said "No, why?" "Come on!" The man says. He goes into the box and then the box starts to disappear.
"What the hell was that?" I smiled, grabbed my bag and keys and walked out the door. I ran to Georgia's apartment and started banging on her door with a fist. She opens the door and smiles at me. "How nice to see you." She says sarcastically. The thing about Georgia is that she is another version of me. I hugged her and said "I've had a weird day." I sigh. "First a blue box then a crazy man who completely changed himself of and to top it off, I skipped class."
"Was it because of them?" "No, I just felt like running all the way home from the university." I say even more sarcastically the she did to me before. "Tell someone." She says. "It's fine, next time I'll just knock them out. How does that sound?" "Better than my plan." She laughs. See, Georgia gets me.
I stay with Georgia for a while then I decided to leave. I walked into my apartment to see Theo. Alyssa terrible boyfriend. He isn't terrible to her or anything I just hate anything that dates any of my friends. "Hi Theo." I say angrily. "Ali, be nice." Alyssa calls from the kitchen. "Aly!" I whine.
"It's weird how you call each other Aly, isn't it?" "No." We both say at the same time. He looks hurt at our comment which makes me smile. I walk over to my room and hear Theo say "Is she goth?" "Shut up Theo!" I sigh as I walk over to my makeup. I never wear it but I have heaps of it. Crazy I know. But my mother keeps buying it for me. Talk about a nice thoughts about your daughter.
I start giggle as I see the black collection. I smile at. I grab the black lip stick and look in the mirror. "Tomorrow." I mutter to myself. "What's tomorrow?" A voice asks. I turn around and smile as I see the Doctor. "You've got to stop with the random appearances."
I say. "But seriously, what's tomorrow?" He asks me. "I'm gonna wear makeup and scare some bullies away!" I say with a huge grin. "Who is she talking to Aly?" Theo says. "Her friend." Alyssa says. I can hear her smile.
I look over at the Doctor. He smiles at me. "Makeup is going to scare people." "Yep. Only black will work. I'll be a gothic scary women." I say. "You already scary." He mutters. I slap his arm and smile at his terribly insult.
"I've got to go. See ya Alison." "Why do you always have to go?" I ask sadly. "I'm running." He whispers. "From what?" I ask, looking down. "From everything, like you." I looked up shocked at what he said. "I'm not running." But it was too late. He left. Again.
I turned around back to my makeup. Maybe I am running. "Not possible." I sigh. What is he? My guardian angel. He comes then he goes. I hate him sometimes. Whoa. I'm acting like I actually know this crazy man. Maybe he's right. Maybe I'm running, from everything.
