**POV ASHLEY**

I stood frozen in the doorway, my heart pounding in my chest as I took in the surreal scene before me. Luna stood poised with a guitar in hand, ready to strike at the shadowy figure lurking beneath the bed. Taking a deep breath, she began to explain the events of the previous night.

"...and then, I woke up in that room, completely disoriented," she concluded, glancing at my stunned expression. "I didn't know what was happening until those construction workers found me."I listened intently, my eyes widening with each revelation.

"That's insane, Luna. I can't believe you went through all that," I murmured, my voice filled with concern.

"Yeah, it was a wild night," she admitted, trying to downplay the severity of the situation. "But I'm just glad to be home safe."Glancing at the creature now revealed as Ambrose, a chill ran down my spine. Something was unsettling about the way he looked at me, a strange intensity in his gaze that sent shivers down my spine. I couldn't shake the feeling that he was somehow fixated on me, his eyes tracing my every move with an unsettling curiosity.

"And that's the dude who kidnapped you?" I asked in a hushed tone.

"Hey! Don't make me look like the bad guy!" he said, clumsily emerging from underneath the bed, tripping over his steps. I'll have to admit, I was captivated by his beauty. His muscular arms, towering body, and dark hair falling over his eyes. I couldn't help but notice his teeth and the tips of his ears, surprisingly sharp.

Ambrose stood awkwardly, his eyes shifting between Luna and me, as if unsure of how to proceed. Finally, he took a deep breath and began to speak, his voice tinged with an otherworldly quality."I know this may sound unbelievable, but I am not just some random creature," Ambrose explained, his words measured and deliberate. "I am a guardian from another realm, sent to escort Luna."My mind reeled at his words, struggling to comprehend the magnitude of what he was saying.

"Guardian? Another realm?" I echoed, feeling completely lost.

"Yes, Luna is connected to the moon in ways you can't even imagine," Ambrose continued, his gaze fixed on Luna. "She possesses a unique gift, one that makes her a target for those who seek to exploit her power."

"I... I don't understand," I stammered, feeling utterly overwhelmed by the revelation. "This is all going over my head. It's too complicated."

Ambrose nodded understandingly, then turned to me with a sympathetic expression. "I know it's a lot to take in, but I'll try to explain it in simpler terms. Luna has a special connection to the moon, and her abilities are tied to its cycles."

I frowned, trying to wrap my head around the concept. "So, what exactly does that mean?" I asked, feeling a sense of frustration creeping in.

"It means that Luna has been hearing the whispers of the moon," Ambrose explained patiently.

"These whispers contain ancient knowledge and guidance, but they can also be dangerous if misunderstood."

As his words sank in, a sense of awe washed over me. My best friend, Luna was somehow connected to something greater than herself. The revelation left me speechless, my mind racing with endless questions and possibilities. And as I looked at Luna, a newfound sense of respect and admiration filled me, knowing that she carried a burden that few could comprehend. Luna, on the other hand, wasn't even surprised. Yet, she says dramatically.

"OMG WHAT!?? THIS RANDOM ASS DUDE WHO CLAIMS TO BE A CREATURE FROM ANOTHER REALM CAME TO ESCORT ME!?" she practically yelled, her tone thick with sarcasm. "Like I give a fuck."

"Meanie" Ambrose says, squinting his eyes. This conversation was funnier than I'd expected. I guess I was the only one taking this whole event seriously. Interrupting Ambrose, Luna continued, "I won't waste my precious time on thi-" But Ambrose interjected.

"Come to our realm for once at least. We'll give you the best facilities and food." he offered, knowing Luna's weakness.

At the mention of food, Luna relented. "We're taking Ash as well," she added, feigning disinterest.

"As you say, madam," Ambrose replied with a grin, sensing his victory. Next thing we knew, we were packing our bags to go to this other realm supposedly.
