"Does what hurt?"i ask harper taking a bite out of my toast that I quickly put back down considering I'll probably just throw it up later anyway.
It's our first day of college today and anxiety isn't even close to what I'm feeling right now I've never sweat so much in my entire life I've checked over my planner at least ten times rearranged my bag four times had a therapy session with Twinkie and I even woke up extra early to break in my new pointe shoes, hence the reason I'm walking round the kitchen in them, and Harper is making friendship bracelets and she's ridiculously excited the complete opposite of me.
"Your shoes"she says not taking her attention of the beads in her palm.
"No there just stiff because there new"I say prancing round the island into a small pirouette.
"Are they expensive because they look expensive I mean all the silk and the sizes,where do you even get them you don't just walk into Clarks for ballet shoes do yo-"
"Harper your waffling"I hold back my smile at her little habit.
She's always been a talker i think it's how she draws people in,her constantly yapping her every thought makes you immediately feel comfortable.
"But yeah there probably expensive but I wouldn't know since I didn't buy them"I smirk
"Let me guess big brother kain?"
"Obviously"
"Why are you up it's like eight in the morning?"harper yelps as Kain emerges from the hallway face as cold as usual.
"I'm up because I'm too excited to sleep Aurora is a nervous reck you know because we have emotions you should try it"harper directs from her perch on the side.
"I have plenty of emotions I just don't see the need to forecast them"he says defensively walking over to the kettle putting it to a boil.
"Yeah,yeah yada yada I'll find a way through that ice cold heart you'll see"She swings her long tanned legs from underneath her climbing down before approaching his side.
"This most likely isn't going to end well"I mutter standing onto my toes moving into a semi pile.
"Here you go icy"she takes his large hands dropping a blue bracelet into them and smiling up at him as he stands unaware of what to do just blinking down at her.
"Your supposed to say thank you"
"But I don't-"
"Say thank you"she huffs
"Thank you"he says stiffly slipping it into his pocket and I try not to giggle.
"See that wasn't so hard now was it"she cooes slapping his cheek playfully as she skips back to her perch proud of herself as he stands there and scowls.
