I was cleaning my room when I got a facebook alert. I put down my cloth to check my phone. It was The Strypes' list of their Irish tour dates. I quickly scanned their list. I squealed when I saw the last date of the tour, my town. I quickly grabbed my phone and texted Evan. I was quickly answered with a phone call. "So you're excited then?" Evan asked after I answered with a squeal. "I don't know if excited is the right word. Why would you guys come here? It's so boring"I heard Evan laugh from the other end. "Yeah, we know. It's all you ever tell us so we have a good idea." I rolled my eyes. "Less of the sass please, Mr. Walsh" I said. "Sorry, but we made it the last day so that we can have some time to hang out with you." he said trying to soften me up. And I have to say that it worked. "Seriously, you guys are such losers. But I can't wait." We spoke for a few more minutes before Charley burst into my room.

"There is a bus to the club in 2 hours and we're going so hang up and get ready." I rolled my eyes at her bossy nature. "Sorry Evan, the jailer's arrived so I gotta go. Say hi to the rest of the guys ok?" I spoke standing from the bed and pointing Charley to my wardrobe. "Will do. Have a good night and we will see you in 4 months time." He said with a fake cheer at the end. "Bye Evan" I said before he hung up. "Really, you couldn't wait for 10 more minutes?" I asked throwing down my phone. "Oh, come on, you can talk to them whenever you want but we haven't gone out in ages. And it's Alice's 18th. Are you going to let her down?" Charley questioned me looking over her shoulder as she rumaged through my clothes. "Alice hates me." I spoke my eyebrows raised at her. "Okay but Alice like me so you have to come with me" She begged. "Pleeeeeeaaaaase" She got on her knees and clasped her hands in front of her chest. "Okay" I shrugged, moving to my wardrobe. "Really?!" She groaned standing up. "Hey, if I can get you to beg it is a good day"

An hour and a half later we were ready to go. "Mam, we're leaving now." I called as we walked up the stairs from my room. "Okay, love. Do you need any money or anything?" She popped her head out of the kitchen. "No Mam I have some thanks. I'm staying at Charley's tonight ok?" She noded her head before she wrapped her hands around me. "Be safe ok?" She whispered into my ear. "Of course, mama. Love you." I gave her a quick peck on the cheek before we left. "Your mam is too cute." Charley said giggling. "Shut up" I replied a grin on my face. "Alice is going to kill you for bringing me." I said as we approached the bus. "I don't really care what Alice says to be honest. We are gonna party and get smashed and have an amazing time!" I rolled my eyes at her pep talk. I followed her onto the bus and was quickly embraced by a huge group of friends. I looked over at Charley.

"I may have lied this could be a 'Elle doesn't need Alex the Dick' party but come on we'll still have a good time." She said throwing me a guilty smile. "I hate you. All of you" I said with a sigh. "You better be buying" I said a smile making its way onto my face. I dropped into a seat next to Jack, one of my friends from school. "Put a smile on your face, Elle. C'mon lets get smashed." I rolled my eyes but followed him to the bar. He handed me a shot of something, which I downed before following them onto the dancefloor. We danced for a while before I excused myself to go and get some air. I went out to the smoking area, which was deserted suprisingly. I sat on one of the benches and rested my chin in my hands.

Given how empty the smoking room was, it was no suprise that when Alex emerged from the shadows, I practically pissed myself. "Hey Elle." His voice was soft and I was not prepared to see him. "What are you doing here?" I asked, standing up. "Look, Elle. I miss you and I'm sure that you miss me too and you can't deny that you still have feelings for me." He was so sincere that seemed like he hadnt been drinking. "Alex, now isn't the time. I've been drinking, but I'm still 1000% sure that I want nothing to do with you anymore. So, please just leave me alone Alex." I started to walk around towards the door, but he got there first and closed the door. "See, Elle thats not acceptable, because I love you and I know you still love me." Once he finished speaking, he grabbed my shoulders and pulled me in, before slamming his lips onto mine. I tried to push him off but it was 55 seconds before he released me. "What the hell, Alex? You can't just do that! I am not your girlfriend anymore." I shouted at him. His face grew dark. "Thats where youre wrong. You are mine. But youre not sober so I will leave you alone but see you tomorrow, baby." He whispered the last sentence in my ear. He slapped my cheek hard before turning and leaving.

I was on the floor, crying when Jack came out of the club. "Elle? What's wrong?!" As soon as he saw me he came running. "Why are you crying?" He pulled me into his arms. "He was here, Jack. And he said that I was his" I sobbed turning into his chest. "Did he hit you again?" He asked his voice laced with anger. I nodded. "We're going to the Guards." He stood and pulled me with him. "What? Jack, we can't, we've both been drinking which is illegal, remember?" I pulled myself from his arms. "Don't be stupid, Elle." He said. "You had one drink 2 hours ago. You're fine and I'm the designated sober person. We are going" He pulled me out of the club, with me protesting the whole time. His last sentence shut me up though. "Elle, stop. This is to protect you, Okay?"
