Octavias pov

I wont lie the past few weeks have been rough, watching Enzo be there helpless and me being useless.

Enzo has had some more twitches in his fingers and doctors are saying that he should wake up soon, which is amazing.

I kinda like the quiet though.

I got discharged a week ago, and i've been staying at the house and sleeping in Enzo's bed. Every night I fight the memories from the American Mafia and my insomnia has gotten worse.

Scars and wounds are still scattered all around my body, I am ashamed of them and they are really ugly.

Enzo was taking care of Manon and when he got in the car accident some bodyguard took care of him, Manon was going crazy when I came home and he wouldn't leave my side.

I turn on the hot water and strip from my clothes, I looked at my stomach and my back and legs seeing red and white all over them, purple still present on my legs and my arms.

My face is better now but i'm just left with the aftermath.

I step in the hot water, the water inflaming my skin and turning it red but I just relax and the memories come back.

"Just like that baby." He puts his hand down and kisses my breast and I feel disgusted,

My eyes shoot open and I wash my body before getting out and drying off and putting some clothes on, I walk out of the bathroom and I see Manon on the bed and his attention turns to me.

I go over and pet him and he leans into me, I get on the bed and turn on Supernatural. I heard it was good.

Dean kind of reminds me of Enzo.

I jolt up from my dream-nightmare and check the time and it is 4:35 am.

Insomnia said no sleep for you.

I go on my phone and click call and she answers immediately.

"Wanna go for a drive?" I ask and she says yes and i'll pick her up.

I get in my truck and drive over to Kali's with Manon in the middle seat, she comes smiling out of her house and into the truck talking in baby voice to Manon.

"Oh my gosh I have so much to tell you." She ushers and starts babbling about her mom and how she died.

"Oh babe i'm so sorry." I pull her into my side and she starts crying.

I get to the beach and we bring some towels to the sand.

"Now where the fuck have you been girl." She says pointing her finger at me.

"Okay I have a very long story." I sit criss cross as she crosses her arms.

"You better, you went MIA for like 2 years." She huffs and looks at me.

"Okay.. so I work with the mafia-" I start

"WHAT?!" Her eyes almost pop out of her head, I shush her and start talking again.

"Yeah thats why I kill people, its apart of my job in the mafia. So one day we went to a strip club and I was on a mission." I start tearing up thinking of how all this shit got started.

"And this guy was like yeah your hot but he was a child trafficker so I killed him but the guy across from me was like really super dooper hot and I had a thing for him, the next day at the frat party I was looking for the bathroom and I went on the roof and he was there and we shared a cigarette.
A couple days later we saw him at the beach like the one across from the guy you ran into, and some how I got kidnapped but ran away but he caught me again and I live at his house now and he deals with the Italian mafia. Um so here the juicy part so 2 years ago I was on a mission but it went south and I got kidnapped by a big mafia and they tourtced me and almsot killed me to be honest. Um so it was the American Mafia and Enzo the dude i'm head over heels with is in a coma since he was in a car accident and drove off a cliff and you know how I have insomnia? he litteraly cures it when I sleep in his bed with him." I take a deep breath and look at her and she is shocked to her flipping core.

"What.. The.. FUCK?" She yells and looks at me for a moment before giving me the biggest hug ever, we stay like that for a couple minutes and we look back at eachother and we are both crying.

"Y-y-you a-almost d-d-died?" She looks at me and I nod my head and she cries harder.

"But i'm not." I smile at her trying to cheer her up and Manon comes up and licks her face making her laugh.

"So Enzo?" She changes the conversation so quickly which made me laugh.

"I'm sorry boo." She hugs me again and we lay on our back as she gives me a recap on her life and she had a boyfriend but he cheated on her and we looked up at the sky and the stars are shining really bright.

"What has our life come to?" She asks me and I shake my head.

"Well I fought death and you had a boyfriend that cheated on you." She started laughing and soon I joined in.

I get a notification from Matt and Kali sees.

"Ouuu who's Matt?" She asks raising and lowering her eyebrows.

"Enzo's best friend." I say and she drops her eyebrows and her emotion on her face.

"Oh, is he hot?" She asks me and I glare at her.

I look back at my phone and see that Matt texted me saying Enzo's awake.

"Enzo's awake we gotta go." I collect my stuff quickly and race to the truck, Manon jumping in and so does Kali and I.

"I'm coming." We both side eye each other as she says that and we both start laughing, I race through the streets. The ride to the house would be around 45 minutes but I made it in 15.

I run in the house and drop all my stuff going in the elevator with Kali and Manon we go up to the highest level.

"So he's rich?" I nod my head and she smiles at me and the door opens, the nurse comes up to me and leads me Enzo's way.

She opens the door and Enzo's there talking to Matt.

"Hi princess."
