6:34 AM
Beep. Beep. Beep. The harsh blaring of the alarm clock brought Akaashi out from his slumber. Reaching over, he grabbed his alarm clock, shutting it off and groaning out in protest of getting up. He wiped the sleep from his eyes as he yawned, it was way too early for him. After a moment of forcibly getting himself to wake up, he brought his legs over the side of his twin bed, sighing in exasperation. Akaashi's eyes scanned over the room in search of the cup of water he'd gotten in the middle of the night. Grabbing the cup, he brought it to his mouth, tilting his head back for a sip only to realize it was empty. Great.
Bringing himself out of bed, he trudged over to the bathroom connected to his room. Practically slamming the door open, he brought himself to the sink, staring into the mirror dragging his fingers over the heavy bags beneath his eyes. Another night of barely any sleep. Sighing, he grabbed the handle of the shower, turning it to the warmest setting and undressing himself. Akaashi stepped into the shower, only to be met with ice cold water raining down on his head.
"ACK!" Akaashi shrieked, throwing himself away from the water and grumbling out incoherent complaints. After a minute of rinsing through his hair quickly, he stuck his hand out to reach around for his towel. Nothing. The towel was missing from its place on the rack and Akaashi hissed out in frustration as he realized once again that he'd forgotten to do his laundry. Stepping out of the icy shower, he gathered his clothes, throwing on his briefs before he looked down at his half charged phone and noticed the time. He was going to be late and he didn't even have time for breakfast. Akaashi yanked his pants on, buttoning them while trying to simultaneously brush his teeth. Rushing out of the bathroom, he grabbed his button up shirt, that just so happened to be wrinkled, from its hanger, pulling the sleeves over his arms and miserably buttoning it up. He then grabbed his socks, pulling them on before running out of his room to get his bag. In a hurry, he shoved his shoes on and pulled his black leather jacket from its hook and put it on as he exited the cramped apartment.
Akaashi rushed down the 4 flights of stairs and quickly got onto his motorcycle(graciously given to him as a hand-me-down from his mother) before he was any later. The time on his phone read 7:12 AM. His class started at 7:30 and it was a 20 minute drive there, 17 if he took a shortcut. Akaashi put his helmet on, tightening the buckle beneath his chin before starting the engine and zooming into traffic. If he was fast enough he could get there 4 minutes earlier. He set up the map on his phone, watching it carefully as he took a right turn and got onto the streets. Traffic began to slow down and the time of arrival had gone from 7:28 to 7:34. Your time of arrival has changed due to traffic. The automated tone on his phone spoke. He was not stuck in traffic and annoyed. With a heavy sigh he pushed his visor out of the way.
"Is there any way out of this traffic by bike?" Akaashi spoke to the phone, feeling a bit self-conscious. After a moment, 3 dots appeared on the screen and a monotone voice spoke. There is one result for "out of this traffic by bike.". The phone then began rerouting his traffic route. Akaashi then put his visor back down and lifted his feet from the ground, placing them onto the sides of the bike and gradually scooting out of traffic and onto an exit road. Akaashi let out a sigh of relief as if things were finally going his way due to traffic being smooth on the shortcut. That was until some idiot suddenly stopped in the middle of the road and blocked traffic in front of him causing him to almost swerve and crash into a nearby outdoor garbage can. Akaashi furrowed his eyebrows, unable to take any more mishaps and got off his bike, seemingly at the same time the driver was exiting his ridiculously expensive car. A man with unusually bi-colored hair stepped out, rushing to the front of his car to check on something before turning to meet Akaashi in the middle.
