"Morning (Y/N)." Zuko says as he finds you by the water fountain.

"Morning Zuko." You say.

"Hey have you seen Aang? I was hoping to talk to him about training. I know he and the others accepted us into the group but it feels like they're still avoiding me a bit." Zuko says.

"Well in their defense you kinda tried to kill them on how many occasions." You say as you look at Zuko.

"Fair. Listen if you see him just send him my way." Zuko says as he walks off.

"Besides at least they've been acting better around you than me." You say annoyedly as you bend down to the fountain.

"Don't take my friends attitude to heart. They've just had some bad experiences with Fire Nation." A voice says revealing to be Toph standing behind you.

"Oh Toph. I didn't know you were there." You say as you are getting some water from the fountain.

"Don't worry about it. Look I know you and Zuko aren't a threat. So you don't have to worry about me. I'm still not thrilled your brother burned my feet but I know it was an accident." Toph says.

"You may know that but the others don't seem to." You say as you sigh.

"You just got to give them time. I know they're being cautious but they'll come around. I mean Aang did say you guys could stay." Toph says.

"Yeah but it wasn't exactly out of friendship. He needed a teacher. So he needs my brother. Not me. I only stayed because I can't go back home. Anyway Toph thanks for the talk but I think I'm gonna take a walk. Maybe it'll clear my head some." You say as you stand up.

"Alright. You're welcome to come find me if you want to chat or vent. I didn't exactly get along with the guys either at first so I know how you feel." Toph says as you look at her.

"Thanks Toph. I'll keep it in mind." You say before walking off.

*Timeskip*

Later as you are walking around you hear someone following you and see Aang hiding behind a pillar.

"Come on Aang. I see you. No need to hide. I can see your foot." You say as Aang steps out from behind a pillar.

"Oh. Heh." Aang says sheepishly.

"Why are you following me Aang?" You ask annoyedly.

"Sorry. I didn't mean anything by it." Aang says.

"Yeah I know. Gotta keep an eye on the Fire Nation you let stay around right?" You ask annoyedly.

"I didn't mean it like that (Y/N)." Aang says.

"Then how did you mean it?" You ask as you cross your arms.

"I just... I was following you because I'm trying to figure you out." Aang says as you look at him curiously.

"Figure me out?" You ask curiously.
