The Ending of Season 1

Lee Yoon-seo suddenly woke up in a room full of sophisticated equipment. Lee Yoon-seo woke up in an oval-shaped chair with several wires attached around hers head.

It turns out, all this time all the students of class 11-3 Yooil High School were alive and asleep in a chair connected to various game equipment. It is their subconscious that has been in the game.

Park Se-eun's parents have been the brains and game masters. The two said, the students actually haven't been asleep for long. But they do feel like they've played the game over and over again. The mafia game that the audience has seen from episode 1 to 12 is not the first game they have played.

The mafia game is a prototype game created by Park Se-eun before she passed away. After Park Se-eun ended her life, her parents continued to develop the game. The goal is to avenge their daughter's death.

To Park Se-eun's parents, all the students of class 11-3 (except my OC, Samantha) are guilty. They want all students to feel the pain of death over and over again.

Oh Jung-won herself is not a real human figure in the drama Night Has Come (2023). She is a game character created by Park Se-eun before she died. There's a scene that shows Lee Yoon-seo with Park Se-eun looking at the character when it was just created.

But for some reason, Oh Jung-won in the mafia game this time deliberately imitated Park Se-eun. She even gave a gift of mafia game design on Lee Yoon-seo's birthday. The goal is for Lee Yoon-seo to win the game.

The reason Oh Jung-won can imitate Park Se-eun is because she is artificial intelligence. In general, artificial intelligence tends to develop itself over time. So, Oh Jung-won is not Park Se-eun, but only artificial intelligence that resembles its creator!

All students in class 11-3 of Yooil High School are responsible for Park Se-eun's death. From the beginning, Park Se-eun was bullied by Kim So-mi, Choi Mina, Park Woo-ram and So-mi's gang. Although she did not participate in bullying, Anna-hee was also involved in bullying because she was silent when the moment occurred.

Meanwhile, Jin Da-beom was also involved in this bullying because he was forced to put Park Se-eun's face into a 'sexy and indecent dancing' video. Because the video was spread, almost all students in class 11-3 laughed at Park Se-eun, such as Im Eun-chan, Nam Yeon-woo, and Shin Seung-bin.

On the other hand, Kim Jun-hee and Lee Yoon-seo are actually considered not protecting Park Se-eun. They also seemed to realize it was too late to save Park Se-eun.

Towards the end, Park Se-eun's father persuaded his wife to end the game. Suddenly the scene changed as Lee Yoon-seo woke up on the bus.

At first, viewers may think they are on their way to school in real life and the game is over. However, Lee Yoon-seo seemed to realize that they are back in the game. Moreover, she saw Oh Jung-won figure in the back seat.

Unlike before, this time Lee Yoon-seo remembers all the events. Although she has to play one more time, Lee Yoon-seo will likely think of all ways to save her classmates and friends in this game session.

Lee Yoon-seo is the only one who realizes that she's in the game. Will the 11th-3rd graders of Yooil High School play the bloody mafia game again and can they stop Se Eun's parents? This only can be found out in the next season, probably need to wait for two to three years.
