[When Park Se-eun was still alive, she jumped up and down and went to her best friend/childhood friend/family friend, Samantha's table and chatted with her. Se-eun told Samantha that she saw the video of Samantha singing has gone viral, she was so happy for her bestie.]

"Samantha, did you see it?! Your singing video has gone viral!" Park Se-eun shouted excitedly as she ran up to Samantha's table at lunch.

"What are you talking about?" Samantha asked with confusion. "I didn't post any video."

"I'm talking about the one at the school festival last weekend," Se-eun replied. "Someone must have recorded you singing on stage and uploaded it online."

"Oh wow, really?" Samantha responded in surprise.

"Yes, really!" Se-eun said. "I can't believe how many views and shares it's gotten. Your voice is amazing, Cha-unnie!"

"You're just saying that because you're my best friend," Samantha chuckled.

"No, it's true!" Se-eun insisted. "All your fans in the comments agree with me too."

"I have fans now?" Samantha grinned with amusement.

"Don't act so humble - you know you're talented," Se-eun teased. "Pretty soon you'll be famous!"

"I doubt that," Samantha giggled. "But it is pretty cool that people liked it. I'm glad I got to perform."

"You were meant for the stage," Se-eun said supportively. "You have to try out for the spring musical now!"

"We'll see," Samantha smiled. "For now, I'm just glad I could share my voice with people because of you, my best friend."

"Aww, Cha-unnie!" Se-eun cooed. "I'll always support your dreams."

"And I'll always support you too, Se-eunnie," Samantha replied lovingly. "No matter what happens."

The two friends then hugged tightly, unaware of how their bond would soon be tested by tragic circumstances beyond their control. But for now, they simply enjoyed this happy moment they shared together.

[Samantha was sitting by the river bank alone, looking sad and blaming herself. Park Se-eun's death really impacted her a lot. Then her childhood sweetheart, Go Gyeong-joon came and tried to comfort her.]

Samantha sat alone by the riverbank, gazing blankly at the flowing water as tears streamed down her cheeks. The loss of her best friend Park Se-eun still weighed heavily on her heart.

"Well, well, if it isn't our little Samantha," a familiar voice sneered from behind.

She didn't need to turn around to know it was Go Gyeong-joon approaching. "What do you want?" she muttered.

"Aww, don't be like that baby," Gyeong-joon cooed as he sat beside her. "I just wanted to check on my old childhood crush in her time of grief."

"Spare me your fake sympathy, Gyeong-joon," Samantha scoffed through tears. "We both know you were one of the ones bullying Se-eun."

"Hey, I was just having some fun," he shrugged. "It's not my fault that this bitch couldn't take a joke."

Samantha angrily punched his shoulder. "How dare you talk about her like that! She was my best friend!"

Gyeong-joon grinned wolfishly. "Fiery as always, I see. That's why I've always liked you, Samantha - you've got spirit."

"Just leave me alone," she spat, turning away from him.

But Gyeong-joon grabbed her chin firmly to face him. "Now now, is that any way to treat your childhood sweetheart?" he murmured. "Let me help take your mind off things..."

Samantha slapped his hand away. "We were never sweethearts, you creep. Now get lost before I scream for help!"

With a sour look, Gyeong-joon stood up and sneered, "You'll come running back to me someday. They all do." Then he sauntered away, leaving Samantha more upset than before.

[Lee Yoon-seo and Kim Jun-hee looked for Samantha and asked if Se-eun really committed suicide.]

"Samantha!" Lee Yoon-seo called as she walked along the riverbank with Kim Jun-hee. "There you are."

Samantha quickly wiped her eyes, not wanting them to see she had been crying. "Hey guys. What's up?"

"We've been looking all over for you," Jun-hee said gently. "How are you holding up?"

"I'm okay," Samantha replied half-heartedly.

Yoon-seo took her hand with care. "Samantha, we need to ask you something important. The police said Se-eun...committed suicide. Is that really what happened?"

Samantha looked at her feet sadly. "That's...what they told me too. But I just don't understand why she would do that."

"None of this makes any sense," Jun-hee added with a frown. "Se-eun seemed like a happy girl. Are you sure she didn't say anything to you before..."
