Sorry this took so long I just have been really busy with school and other things but I promise to try and post another chapter this week. Please forgive me
Pierce's POV:
I was doing my usual chores feeding my sheep, siblings and myself, cleaning up after everyone and getting my siblings to school before I hed to work. It had been really hard on us since we left are toxic parents.(Pierces dad died in war and he has a really toxic mother who always abused Pierce and his siblings with her new husband so they left them and since Pierce is the oldest and over 16 he has to work.) As I has finally left the house to go to work I had just realized that we needed more food, I also saw Aaron running to me.
Aaron: "Hey Buddy..."
Pierce: "What do you want?" I said strictly cause I knew that he would never talk to me nicely unless he wanted something really bad.
Aaron: "Do you have some extra food?" Aaron guilty asks me
Pierce: "Unfortunately not. The king keeps in increasing the taxes so I don't have much.but I do have 4 gold coins so I could buy 2 wheats." I say with sorrow in my tone
Aaron: "I only have 2 gold coins and I think the merchant increased it again. "
Pierce: "SERIOUSLY! THIS IS THE THIRD TIME THIS WEEK!" I compaind filled with rage. The merchant keeps increasing his prices and he knows that most people can't afford his price while paying taxes.
Aaron: "hey calm down, you're not the angry person, ok? That's my job! Hey I just realised that I've actually never seen you angry before." Aaron says calming me down and making me give out a small giggle.
Pierce: " Heyy I guess you're right? "
