Some days passed away in the jiff.
Rohit had joined the poddar firm.
They successfully settled in the poddar house.
On a Sunday morning, the soft golden rays of the sun seeped through the curtains of the cozy bedroom of Abhira and Rohit.
The air was filled with a sense of peace as Abhira emerged from the bathroom, her face illuminated with a gentle smile as she gazed lovingly at the heartwarming scene before her.
There, nestled in the embrace of sleep, were Rohit and Kaashvi.
Rohit's arm was draped protectively around the tiny bundle, holding her close to his chest.
It was a sight that melted Abhira's heart every time she saw it, the bond between father and daughter palpable even in the quiet of slumber.
Kaashvi, who usually slept in her own cot, had been particularly restless the previous night, her cries piercing the calm of the household.
In a gesture of parental solidarity, Abhira and Rohit had brought the little one into their bed, where she had found solace in the warmth of her parents' love.
Unable to resist the overwhelming tenderness of the moment, Abhira tiptoed closer, her phone poised to capture this tableau of familial bliss. Clicking a picture, she immortalized the scene, the love and serenity radiating from the image.
With a soft sigh, Abhira decided to let her husband and daughter continue their peaceful slumber and made her way downstairs, the memory of the heartwarming sight lingering in her mind.
Entering the kitchen, Abhira was greeted by the comforting presence of Vidya, along with Manisha, Kajal, and Ruhi,
Abhira - Good morning.
Abhira greeted them warmly, the smile on her face reflecting the happiness that resonated within her.
Vidya - Good morning, beta. Rohit utha?
Abhira - Maa, aapka beta aur poti dono ghode bech kar so rahe hai, ek dusre ko gale laga kar. Aaj Sunday hai, to dono papa-beti ko uthana matlab registaan mein pani dhundna.
Abhira chuckled, her voice filled with love and amusement at the prospect of the father-daughter adventure that awaited them outside.
They laughed,
Abhira - Yeh dekhiye.
She showed them their sleeping picture. They admired them while ruhi was getting envied by it.
They together made breakfast.
----------------------------------------
With breakfast ready, Abhira excused herself and made her way back to the room. Upon entering, she found Kaashvi awake, her tiny arms flailing as she tried to wriggle out of her father's secure hold.
Abhira's eyes lit up with joy at the sight of her daughter's playful antics. She approached Kaashvi, ready to scoop her up, but before she could do so, Rohit gently tugged her towards him.
Abhira - Tum jaag rahe the?
She asked, a playful glint in her eyes. Rohit chuckled softly,
Rohit - Hmm, Sunday ke din bhi jaldi uthne ki kya zarurat thi.
Abhira shook her head with a smile.
Abhira - Rohit, 10 baj gaye hai. Bohot Sunday ho gaya. Ab utho jaldi aur yaha lao Kaashu ko. Usse ready kar deti hu. Aaj uska vaccination bhi hai pata hai na.
With a nod of agreement, Rohit relinquished his hold on their daughter as Abhira carefully cradled Kaashvi in her arms.
On the breakfast table, everyone was having breakfast, abhira was feeding kaashvi. Rohit was feeding abhira and eating himself too. It was their routine to feed each other if someone was feeding Kaashvi.
Krish - bhaiya aaj sunday hai toh kyu na kahi bahar chale..??
Abhira - sorry krish aaj nahi jaa sakte aaj kaashu ka vaccination hai toh hum hospital jaa rahe hai, aur phir vaccination ke baad kaashu ko fever hoga.
Kiara - aww....bhabhi doctor se kehna injection aise lagaye ki kasshu ko dard na ho.
They laughed.
Rohit - kiara aisa konsa injection hota hai jisse lagane ke baad dard nahi hota, aap logo ko pata hai jab kaashu ka pehla vaccination tha na toh kaashu ko rote hue dekh kar uski mumma bhi zor zor se rone lagi aur usse dekh kar kaashu ka rona bandh ho gaya, usse chod kar mujhe abhira ko sambhalna pada, meri kaashu iss maamle mein mujh par gayi hai, bohot brave hai meri princess hai na.
Everyone laughed.
Abhira - very funny.
----------------------------------------
Rohit and Abhira held hands tightly as they entered the hospital, their hearts pounding with a mix of nervousness and concern for their little one.
The bright lights and antiseptic smell of the hospital made them feel a bit uneasy, but they knew that they were there for a good reason to protect their daughter's health.
Kaashvi, looked around with wide eyes, her tiny hand clutching her favorite stuffed toy, a fluffy rabbit named Cuddle. She didn't fully understand why they were here, but she sensed the seriousness in her parents' expressions and clung to them tightly.
As they reached the doctor's cabin, Rohit greeted him with a nervous smile,
Rohit - Good morning, doctor.
Doctor - Good morning, Mr. Poddar. Nurse, please prepare the injection.
he instructed, his voice calm and reassuring.
Nurse nodded silently and began to prepare the vaccination.
The room felt quiet for a moment, filled only with the soft rustling of gloves and the distant hum of hospital equipment.
Kaashvi, sensing the tension in the room, looked up at her parents with big, worried eyes. Abhira knelt down and whispered softly,
Abhira - It will be over soon, sweetheart. Just a little prick, and then we can go for ice cream, okay?
Kaashvi smiled, her lower lip trembling slightly.
Dr approached the family with a smile, holding the small syringe in his hand. Kaashvi's eyes widened in fear, her grip on Cuddle tightening. With gentle expertise, the doctor administered the vaccine quickly and efficiently.
The sharp sting made Kaashvi gasp in surprise, and then came the inevitable a loud, heart-wrenching cry.
Tears welled up in Abhira's eyes as she instinctively reached out to comfort her daughter. Rohit wrapped his arms around both of them, his heart aching to see his little girl in pain. Nurse handed Kaashvi a colorful band-aid with a soothing smile, trying to distract her from the discomfort.
As the cries of kaashvi slowly subsided into sniffles, Dr patted Kaashvi's head gently.
Doctor - There, all done. You were so brave, Kaashvi.
he praised. Kaashvi hiccupped, her eyes still glistening with tears, but a small smile tugged at her lips.
Rohit and Abhira exchanged a grateful look with the doctor and nurse, their hearts filled with relief that the vaccination was over.
They knew it was a necessary step to protect Kaashvi from harmful diseases, even if it meant a moment of pain and tears.
Walking out of the doctor's cabin, Kaashvi clutched her band-aid proudly, her parents by her side, their bond stronger than ever. As they stepped outside into the warm sunshine, Rohit whispered to Abhira,
Abhira - Let's go get that ice cream now, just like we promised.
And with laughter and love, the family headed off to make more cherished memories together.
