When he pulled up he saw Marian Judd and Paul outside washing the truck "Hey Carlos !" Paul called "You here for lunch ?" Paul asked Carlos laughed "Actually figured I'd stop by and see TK." Carlos said "Speaking of which have you guys seen him?" Carlos asked, "No but if I do I'll tell him you were looking for him ." Judd said eyeing Carlos down he made his way to the ambulance where Nancy was listening to some music while she took inventory "Hey you wouldn't know where Tk is right ?" he asked

" Jesus stop sneaking up on people ." Nancy said "And no I don't know where your boyfriend wandered off to he's on his lunch ." Nancy said so with that Carlos made his way upstairs when he was called by Owen into his office
"Hey, Carlos ." Owen says looking up from the pile of incident reports "Captain Strand." Carlos says " Owen please." he chuckles "Is something the matter ?" Owen asked, "No I was just looking for Tk did you uh know where I could find him everyone seems to not know ." Carlos said

" you have a few minutes Carlos I wanna ask you some questions ?" Owen said

Before he could answer Owen concluded that he did

"Is everything okay - between the two of you ?" Owen asked, "Yeah I'd say we are good why?" Carlos said " he's been off recently I'd say the past few days. Skipping lunch and dinner with the crew really out of it -" Owen said, " do you see what I'm leading to.." Owensajd

"I didn't know - we are fine he comes over a lot and we hang out but -" Carlos said, " we are good," Carlos said

"Are you controlling what he eats ?" Owen asked "Cause if that's the case me and Judd will fix that."Owen said starring Carlos down "Sir I assure you I'm not - I would never ." Carlos studdered when Owen broke out in laughter " I know boy ." Owen laughed " I was just wondering if you knew If he was getting sick or not feeling well ." Owen said, " I knew you weren't doing anything to him ." Owen laughed

"Just gotta keep you scared  ." Owen smiled " he's in the bunk room kid ."

Carlos finds his way to the bunk room where he sees a lump in his bed curled In a ball
He made his way over to Tk's bed sitting on the edge he ran his fingers through his hair softly

How could Owen even think he would have hurt Tk - how could anyone hurt Tk - Carlos couldn't wrap his head around it he wouldn't dare -

"Mm." Tk mumbled as he leaned into the touch "Hey baby -." Carlos said softly " I don't feel that
Good ." Tk mumbled  as Carlos traced his face " I'm sorry baby ." Carlos said before getting behind him and spooning him "This okay ?" Carlos asked "Mhm." Tk said closing his eyes when Judd walked past the bunk room looking at the two he and Carlos made eye contact before kissing gave a soft smile and nodded his head before going about his business

"What's the matter?" Carlos asked as he rubbed Tk's side " I'm just out of it. I've got a headache Maybe a little nauseous ." Tk said, "But you help ." Tk said and that's when the bell went off " I've gotta go I'm sorry ." Tk said sitting up "Love you ." Tk said when he went down to kiss Carlos realizing what he had just done he walked out of the bedroom as soon as possible god she was so dumb

The ride to the scene Tk sat in the back "You okay Tk?" Nancy asked as she watched him in the rearview mirror "Mhm" Tk said but that was before he hurled into the trash can " Tk buddy I'm gonna have you sit this one out okay ?" Tommy said but Tk just puked into the can again

When they got to the call Tk just sat in the back "Where's Tk "Judd asked when Nancy and Tommy only got out of the rig " he's in the back he's sick ."

Judd entered the back of the ambulance when he saw Tk going in and out of it " When we get back to the station you're going home ." Judd said while letting Tk rest his head on Judd " No okay ." Tk said " your as pale as a ghost and look like you haven't slept in days ." Judd said "You're going home " I told Carlos that I love him ." Tk mumbled as he rested his head on Judd's shoulder

"And you're upset" Judd led on "We've only been dating 4 months I've been putting off saying it Just he doesn't feel the same I don't think ." tk said, " he does," Judd said

" how do you know ?" Tk mumbled while dozing off "Cause I see the way that boy looks at you." Judd said, " his heart beats for you everyone sees it ." Judd said

When they got back to the station Tk went back up to the bunks Judd stayed behind while the crew went back out on another call

When Carlos walked back into the station Judd greeted him " he probably puked like 20 times ." Judd said, "Is he okay now ?" Carlos asked as they walked up the steps

"He's been out since we got back Tommy believes that he may have a stomach bug and he's a little dehydrated." Judd said when they got to the bunk room Carlos walked over to his bed while Judd just waited outside "Hey baby." Carlos said softly stroking his hair "We're gonna go home now.." Carlos said helping tk sit up

When they got home Carlos tucked Tk in and before he knew it Tk was out like a light Carlos brought a trash can to the side of the bed in case he had to puke and couldn't make it to the toilet in time

Carlos went downstairs  to make some soup for Tk just some regular chicken and noodle soup   He also made Tk a cup of tea with some honey to relax and calm his throat  when he brought it upstairs Tk was curled in a ball "Hey baby boy how are you feeling??" Carlos said sitting on the Bed before pulling Tk into his lap "Like shit ." Tk mumbled

"Are you sure you're okay with me staying here ?"Tk said " I don't want to ruin your day off ." tk said

"You never do ." Carlos said softly " I didn't mean to ." Tk mumbled "To what ?" he asked, " to get sick ."

"Of course, you didn't it happens sometimes it's not your fault," Carlos said

"Alex he used to get mean when I was sick-" Tk said as Carlos combed through his hair with his fingers

" I'm sorry you had to deal with that asshole," Carlos said

" I'm not mad I would never be mad if you got sick," Carlos said softly
Tk just smiled "Because I love you ."  Carlos said "Really?" tk said as if he didn't believe it "Of course ." Carlos said, "I scream it from the rooftops if you don't believe me ." Carlos joked " I love Tk strand ." Carlos yelled Tk couldn't help but laugh
