Hello, hello!
I welcome you to Therian Ways. You must be here because you either are curious about therianthropy, have seen it around on Youtube or Tiktok and its now got you questioning or you just want to learn more.

Am I a Therian?
What is a Therian?
Is it really what it looks like in the Tiktok/Youtube videos?

No need to fear, I am here to help educate you on the bounds of Therianthropy.

Let me start with my own therian journey.

I am a red fox therian awakened in Nov. 2017 where I first learned Therianthropy right here on Wattpad. I grew up with animalistic behaviours and mannerisms. Being a kid, I grew up thinking it was normal. I loved playing and running around as an animal whenever I was at my Grandma's house in Maine.

Growing up, it never went away.

When I moved to Iowa, I made a friend in Middle school and together we would venture out behind her house acting and playing as wolves. Scamping through the trees and the horse pastures. Exploring the rock quarries. We would howl late nights and sleep on her trampoline. Even during the winters where the cornfields were flattened, we would bundle up and walk on our hands and knees in the snow, growling and acting like wolves. It helped release so much of the animalistic manners. Even to this day just looking back I wish I could relive those moments.

Now, when I first awakened, I was one of those cringey therians who identified as a pure black timber wolf. It took an instagram post to help me begin more research.
The post said, "Wolves are not pure black. If they are, then they are wolfdogs as wolves can only be black phased. Their fur will always have a brown, white, or silver undercoat."
I dis my research and it was true.

Wolves are not pure black.

During my journey, I found myself on the therian amino where anogher newly awakened therian invited me to be a beta of an online pack named Soldado.
I happily accepted and we grew to over 100 members.
They helped me with my wolf identity. From a timver wolf I had found the black phase Mackenzie river wolf.

I spent a good year in the pack watching others leave, wanting a more local pack to be with other therians jn real life. I couldn't blame them and aoon, I had found ankther pack that was alot closer to me. I had to wish my own fair wells and goos byes before joining the Audeamus Pack.

It was a pack that oriented itself in Illinois, Missouri, and Iowa. The oerfect pack for myself! They too helped me in my wolf journey.

The list below is the order of what wolf species I identified as:

1. Black-phase Mackenzie River Wolf

2. Arctic Wolf

3. Werewolf

4. Tawny timber wolf

5. Iberian wolf

6. Iberian Quileute Wolfshifter

Yes, that is many identities all in the same category for the most part. They all had one thing in common.

I knew I was a wolf of some sort.

I then moved to Texas and under certain events, I was disbanded from my pack. I had found another called The Pathfinders lead by Leotie.
It wasn't until Covid happened and the town was put under quarentine when I went back to questioning.

While some wolf therians were expressing their depression and loneliness away fron the pack, I was content with being home. This wasn't very wolf of me to feel.
My husband then mentioned foxes and it got me curious to look into it and the more I did my research, it made alot more sense than the wolf identity.

Now it being confirmed, I am a red fox therian and haven't had any questioning come to play since. I am very confident in my fox identity.
