A new beginning

[Narrator's pov]

As his eyes fluttered open he saw an unfamiliar yet familiar ceiling. He sat up and decided to look around and he found out that he was not in his apartment 'hmm that must be why this bed felt more soft'.

He looked outside the window and it was night time. Oddly enough he was calm, then suddenly he felt a splitting headache 'what th-' as memories flooded his head "memories?... A promise?...." He mumbled. Then he passed out on the bed.

[Mc's pov]

I opened my eyes and saw that unfamiliar yet familiar ceiling again "not a dream I guess" I mumbled, and decided to look around and saw a door to the right 'hmm.. that must be the bathroom?'.

I got up from the bed and stumbled a bit but caught myself before I fell 'ha! Take that gravity', as I got to the bathroom I went to the sink and splashed my face with water.

I looked up at the mirror and saw myself my eyes widened at what I saw.

'I expected this after last night, but I didn't think that we would almost have the same look' I thought. "Ok enough with that, first I need to think about that promise" I said.

When I woke up I was in a place that is surrounded with flowers then I saw a golden haired and silver eyed girl "Oh my I sincerely apologize for my mistake, I'm Celeste but you can call me Lest,I'll make up for my mistake" said the girl no Lest in front of me " mistake? What do you mean?" I asked Lest.

"Oh dear, about that... You weren't supposed.. to be dead yet.. I kinda.. umm.. accidentally.. umm.... Got a runaway lightning hit you." "You got a runaway lightning hit me?" I confusedly asked.

"Again, I apologize for that" "and what do you mean by you'll make it up for it?" I questioned "Ah! About that well I technically am gonna reincarnate you somewhere, since I can't really bring you back to your world.

Hehe sorry about that, but there is also magic on this new world where your soul is going" "magic you say?" *Nods* "mhm" Lest says "and I could also bless you!!" She said happily "hmm? What do you mean 'bless' me?" I asked "It means I can bestow you a power" "oh, alright" I said.

"Before I forget, there's just a few more things I need you to know" "oh? What is it" I say with an inquiring look "Umm, so first once you get there you won't remember anything until you're 15 the same age as you are now, and second promise me if you meet someone with platinum hair and silver eyes do get along with her"

"Is this person important?" 'does being one of her fragments count as important?' as sweat dropped from her forehead "Umm, you could say that and she is, a what do you call them? Hmm... Ah! A guide!" "hmm, very well then I promise I'll do that" I said while smiling "farewell then, until we meet again mortal" and I lost consciousness.
