When they entered back to the club, they saw Mika leaking on Shashi's shoulder and his hand was wrapped around her bare waist. Kavin walked towards them and smiled at Shashi saying, "Neenge ponga, We will take care of her". Shashi nodded his head and pecking Mika's lips, he went out to continue his work. "Friends with benefits, is it?" Aayush asked Dini, looking at Mika. Dini nodded and gulped her drink. Keshav who noticed everything dragged Mika outside and stared at her.
“What the hell is going on, Mika? Clubbing sari okay parvala… dress sari okay parvala… vaping sari nu I let you da, but what’s happening now? What are you doing da? Unne naan chumma thangachiya parkala.. If you really think of me as your brother and as you always say un appaku aduthu ennathan vechirukke nu… if it’s all true end whatever relationship you have with Shashi. End it now! Don’t make me raise my hand. People know about him. I don’t want anyone to judge you. Please da enakkaga do this…this is not the only way to move on from your past” Keshav hugged his sister and kissed her forehead. “Sorry anne, love you” Greeshmika asked him to bend a little to her height and kissed his forehead.
As soon as she stepped in the club she was immediately dragged to the dance floor by her 2 friends. She glared at them before hugging them both screaming “Love you my babies”. Three of them were literally conquering the dance floor grabbing people’s attention. Once they were tired they returned to their seat and sat laughing wholeheartedly. Greeshmika texted Shashi that she wants to meet him. Informing her friends, she went out to meet Shashi. “What happened babygirl?” Shashi wrapped his arm around her.
She held his hand and nodded negatively. “Shashi, can we end this? I’m not like this da… I feel so cheap thinking of myself. Just because of my past I can’t choose this way. I’m sorry Shashi, please?” her eyes welled up. “Shh, stop Mika… I understand… I won’t force you… but anything I’m here for you… Thanks for everything… but we were good…” he hugged her, kissing her temple. Mika smiled and thanked him for respecting her decision and showed thumbs up to her brother who was smoking at the corner. Then she noticed Aayush standing beside her brother. She moved towards them letting Shashi to do his work and hugged her brother.
Aayush patted Keshav’s back, “I’ll go inside and check” left from there without even glancing at Mika. “Unga friend ku konjam thimiru jasthiyo” she looked at the direction Aayush went. “En machan thangam di…look at him, avan azhagukku thimiru illamaya…leave that.. Everything settled with that bastard?” he placed his hand on her shoulder. She nodded her head and hit her brother’s head when she saw him taking another cigarette to smoke.
After the DJ played the lastcall song, the trio came out of the club waiting for their brother. “Enna drink da athu… I’m feeling so high” Mika hugged herself as she felt cold. “Are you okay? Your anne asked me to give you this lemon drink” Aayush passed her the glass. She shivered as their hands brushed and looked at him. Aayush bit his lips controlling his smiles as he saw her ears turning red. “Kai orasanudhukke indhe reaction ha” all dirty thoughts came to his mind but he shook them away when he heard Dini cursing a guy who bumped her accidentally. Aayush patted her back “Avan poi aaru maasam aachu… go be with your friend… chumma kathittu”. Dini scowled at him and sat beside Greeshmika. Keshav kneeled and cupped Mika’s face, all he was able to see was her moist eyes. He consoled her, hugging tightly and kissed her forehead. Keshav gritted his teeth thinking of the person behind his sister’s tears and all he wanted to do was break her ex-boyfriend’s face.
“Annan car le, got things da.. I’ll drop Kavin and Dini… Mika is it okay for you to follow Aayush? He’ll drop you” Keshav winked at Aayush. Mika looked at Aayush and nodded her head. “Ille anne I will go with him, you bring Mika” Kavin smiled but hissed when he received a hit on his head. Dini glared at him and turned to Aayush. “Anne, my boyfriend is here. I’ll go back with him. He is bringing me to his hometown. So take care of Mika” she hugged all of them and before leaving she pecked Mika’s lips earning some ‘EWWS’ from the boys.
Mika legs wobbled as she walked due to the effect of the alcohol. Aayush held her securely in his arms and walked together towards Keshav’s car. After a few minutes of talking and hugging Aayush and Mika bid them bye and Aayush led her to his car. Aayush opened the car door for her and when Mika was about to enter she stumbled and before she could touch the floor Aayush held her waist.
When she looked into his eyes her world seemed to stop. They both experienced an unknown mutual feeling. His thumb caressed her right cheek while her grip on his shoulder tightened. The celestial pearl in the night sky brought extra glow to her face. Inch by inch they both were getting closer without their knowledge. His lips were a few inches apart from her lips. She wetted her lips when she saw his eyes on her lips. His brown orbs darted back to her doe eyes seeking her permission. No words were spoken, but their eyes conversed in their own way. Giving a tiny blushy smile she closed her eyes.
