LEO'S POV
I was at school when a girl around my age came up to me, wearing black sunglasses, and holding a cane. She poked the cane at me, I yelped in shock but smiled gently at her. She waved in front of her, making me smile even more. I didn't want to freak her out, so I didn't tell her that I was a mutant turtle.
"Hello!" The girl spoke to me. I chuckled and greeted her back. I walked her to her next class and the next day, we started talked more and more. Eventually, I began to have feelings towards the sweet, blind girl. I decided to tell her how I feel, along with what I looked like... I inhaled as I watched her from a far, talking to other girls in my classes.
I sighed and began walking up to her. I tapped her on the shoulder, and she turned to face where the tap came from. She looked confused as she didn't know who touched her. I found her confused face rather cute...
"Uhm, hello?" She said, I sighed, and her eyebrows rose up.
"Oh, hello, Leo!" She happily said hearing my voice. I don't understand how she knew it was me. Maybe, because she's blind, her hearing senses got better. It's kinda the only way she could tell it was me. I inhaled a bit and exhaled again.
"Uhm, Y/N, could I speak with you... Privately?" I asked her, folding my hands together. She smiled and nodded.
"Of course!" She spoke with her usual happy tone. I smiled a bit myself and took her to a place with not that many people. I sighed once again ready to tell her what I had to.
"Y/N?" I asked her again. She nodded, as if to say, 'I'm listening'. I opened my mouth to speak.
"I've been wondering if you even knew what I was, or- who I was," I was interrupted by Y/N's precious giggling.
"I know who you are, Leonardo. You're a mutant turtle! It isn't hard to understand," she said, still giggling. I was stunned, how on earth could she tell I was a mutant turtle? As if to read my mind, she continued.
"My awarenesses were heightened once I became blind. My touch, smell, and hearing are up to %1000!" She said, pointing to her eSight3's. I opened my mouth with an 'oooh' and nodded understandingly. She smiled a bit and but both hands on her cane and leaned forward a bit.
"So, what is it that you were going to tell me?" She asked, a brow raising in curiosity. I blushed and nodded. I inhaled and exhaled through my nose again, I closed my eyes and opened them to speak.
"Oh yea, uhm... I wanted to know if you wanted to maybe go out with me sometime. It's okay if you do-" I got distracted by Y/N's red face. I smiled a bit. She covered her mouth for a second, then took her hand off. She smiled at me and nodded happily. I was so relieved.
"Of course, Leonardo. I didn't think you'd like someone like me!" She spoke. I shook my head in disagreement.
"Who wouldn't like you?" I asked, she shrugged a bit. Then faced me, based off were the sound was coming from, I'm guessing.
"But yes, I would love to go out with you." She said, smiling from ear to ear, making me blush hard. I hugged her and she hugged back.
I can't believe someone as pretty as her chose to date me out of all people!
