You might be wondering why my Dad's after me. Well, after he ran away and the police questioned me, I had no shame in telling them that it was him who killed the love of my life. That's how he ended up in prison for 3 years... Only a third of what he's meant to be serving...

"Can all passengers please fasten their seatbelts, we will shortly be landed at Sydney Airport."

I awoke to the sound of the captain over the intercom (is that what they're called??). This is it. This is my new life; I am now living in Australia. I had left everything I knew behind, even Jack.
Attended his funeral was the toughest thing I've ever had to do. Some people glared at me knowing that it was a member of MY family that killed him. Others gave look of sympathy and love knowing that I'd lost the love of my life. As for the speech? I spent many sleepless nights trying to perfect it but as the time came, I realized that perfection comes from the heart. So that's what I did, I just said whatever floated into my head.

As we collected our bags and walked out of the airport a sudden rush of hot air hit me, I'd forgotten that Australia was twice as hot as England. We walked over to the hire car place where we could pick up the car we rented until we could afford one if our own.
"It's only a half hour drive to the house" my mum said. I hadn't actually been shown any photos of the house, or been told where it was for that matter. All I knew was that I got first pick of the rooms and that it had a swimming pool. Nothing else mattered to me after being told that.

Half an hour later we turned into a street with around 10 houses on each side. They were huge. We stopped in front of a white, two story house with a nicely kept lawn at the front. The house itself had two balcony's and a big glass window up the top. It was stunning.
"This is it" mum said as the car stopped in front of the garage. "Our new home. You like it?"
"I FUCKING LOVE IT! IT'S AMAZING!" I screamed.
"language!" Scolded my mum.
"Sorry, it's just so amazing" I apologised.
"I know sweetie. I'm so sorry all these things have happened, you don't deserve them. Things will get better now, I promise."
I just nodded my head. I had nothing to reply with.
