*Georgia's POV*

*ding dong* the doorbell sounded. This was it, they were here. My awkwardness had started.
"Go and open the door Georgia" mum shouted from the kitchen. I walked over to the door and opened it to be greeted by Luke, his mum and his dad.
"Hello love, I'm Liz and this is my partner Andrew. I take it you already know Luke." She smiled.
"Hiya, it's nice to meet you. Come in" I said. As I walked past Luke gave me a heart warming smile, god this boy was killing me inside and I'd known him for less than 12 hours.

"Dinner will be ready in half an hour or so. Why don't you and Luke go upstairs whilst us three have adult conversations?" Mum said. In other words, she didn't want me here.
"Okay, follow me' I motioned to Luke. He nodded his head and followed close behind.

"I like your room, great posters" he complimented as we entered my room. "Thank you" i replied. "They're my favourite bands" I said as I looked up at my All Time Low, Blink 182 and Green Day posters I put up earlier.
Luke's eye shone as i said that. "They're mine too! We're going to get on even better now!" He sounded like an excitable child. After he finally calmed down i asked him what he wanted to do.
"So, what do you want to do?" I asked Luke. "We could watch TV, or a movie or..." I was interrupted by Luke "let's play 20 questions" he offered. "Okay, you start" I told him.
"Favourite colour?" He asked.
"Blue" I instantly replied. "You?"
"Mines blue as well' he said. "Favourite food?" I asked him. "Spaghetti!" He shouted. "Woah someone has a big love for spaghetti" I laughed at him. "Aha sorry, my mum makes the best spagetti " he said. After we'd finished talking about spaghetti and food the questions began to get a bit more personal.
"So, what's your current relationship status?" He asked me. I stopped smiling, that question hit me like a bullet. Should I tell him? I guess I'd have to at some point...
Luke noticed my discomfort and quickly added "you don't have to answer that". I looked up at his concerned face. "No, I will" I told him. I'd never told anyone about Jack since the incident, Luke was the first. I felt like I could trust him though.
"I..I did until a few months ago. M-my dad didn't really like him. No, he hated him. Ever since we started going out he became different, a dad I didn't know before. He became abusive and would always come home drunk. Then one night he took it too far, h-he.." I paused and prepared myself for what I was about to say next. "It's okay, come here" Luke comforted me as he wrapped his arms around me. Damn he gave good hugs. "You don't have to tell me if it's too much" he said. I carried on anyway though.
"One night he came home with a gun in his hand and pointed it at Jack. We both ran but...but...but we weren't quick enough. He shot Jack. He killed my boyfriend" by this time tears were streaming down my face. I try not to think of the past but it's hard. This is why I've never told anyone about it.
Luke was silent, he didn't say anything. He just held me tight in his arms. "I'm so sorry, I should never have asked" he whispered after a few minutes.
"No, you should've. I've never told anyone before but now it's a big weight lifted off my shoulders. Thank you" I said. He smiled, his piercing blue eyes sharing right into my green/blue ones. "Dinner!" Mum shouted up the stairs interrupting us.
"I'll be down in a minute" I told Luke as we got up off the bed. He gave me a concerned look but didn't say anything, he just nodded and walked out of the door.

*Luke's POV*

'You're such an idiot Luke. Why did you ask that?!' I shouted at myself inside. Poor girl...

"Georgia's just coming" I told the adults who were already sat around the table waiting to start. And right as I sat down, she came down the stairs. She didn't look like she'd been crying so she'd probably washed her face again. I smiled as she sat down next to me.

"So Luke, what do you do as a job?" Georgia's mum asked me as we were all tucking in to the most amazing lasagna. "I'm actually in a band called 5 Seconds Of Summer with my three friends" I told her after I'd finished what I was chewing. "Wow, that's great!" She said. I smiled and thanked her. Georgia was looking over at me wide eyed, probably wondering why I never mentioned it to her when we were upstairs.

*Georgia's POV*

Woaah, Luke was in a band?! Why did he never tell me this upstairs?! Oh wait...probably because you were crying all over him. Good one Georgia.
After dinner, the adults went back to talking so me and Luke went down to the basement to watch a film.
"Woah, this is amazing!" He exclaimed as his eyes scanned over the XBox, TV and large set of DVD's. I laughed at him and sat down.
"So mister, before we pick a movie, you need to tell me about this band you're in" He looked over at me and smirked. "Well" he started. "It's called 5Seconds Of Summer. I'm the lead singer and I play guitar, Calum sings and plays bass, Mikey sings and plays Guitar and Ashton plays drums and sometimes sings." Wow, a hot blonde with blue eyes, who has a lip piercing and is in a band...what more could I girl want? Is it possible to have a huge crush on someone in such a short space of time?

"You'll have to meet them, they're great guys" he told me. "I'd like that" I said. "It's be nice to actually have some friends" I smiled.
"Woah, am I not classed as a friend then?!" He teased me. I giggled, yes giggled, "of course you are. I just meant more than one! Unless you don't want to be my friend?!" I teased him back. He tilted his head back and laughed before leaning forwards and tickling me. "Oh course I want to be your friend Georgia!" He said in between laughter.

A few hours later we were onto our second film. We'd just finished watching Mean Girls... Which Luke weirdly loved...and now we were watching Woman In Black. I hated horror films but Luke insisted that we watched it.

*Lukes POV*

I only insisted that we watched a horror because I remembered her telling me earlier that she didn't like them. I thought of it as a chance to get closer to her before she met the other three as they'd be all over her otherwise. I mean, who can blame them? She's hot.

Half way through the film Georgia had finally stopped screamed and jumping onto me. I looked down at her to find that she was fast asleep. I decided to turn the TV off and carry her upstairs to bed.
As I walked through the kitchen, the adults all looked up from their conversation but nodded when they realized that I was taking Georgia to bed. As I walked into her room, I placed her down onto her double bed and put a blanket over her that I found in one of her draws. I closed the curtains and shut the door behind me.
As I walked down the stairs, I yawned and checked the time. 12am. No wonder she was tired.
"Right then Luke, we're going. You got everything?" My dad asked me as I walked into the kitchen. I nodded. After we thanked Georgia's mum for dinner we walked home.

As I lay in bed 20 minutes later I started thinking about Georgia. I feel like we've been best friends for ages...is it possible to feel that way so quickly? And more importantly, is it possible to have feelings for someone that quickly?
