Aaron: nova?
Nova: yeah?
Aaron: are you ok?
Nova: I'm fine
Aaron:my cousin says "fine" is girl code for dying on the inside

Nova doesn't reply or talk to Aaron for the whole lesson. She just wanted to get it over with.
As Nova sat through the lesson, her mind wandered, and she couldn't help but feel a sense of detachment. The classroom felt suffocating, and she just wanted the day to be over. Ignoring Aaron's attempts to engage her, she focused on getting through the lesson as quickly as possible.

Minutes turned into hours, and Nova's patience wore thin. She couldn't shake off the feeling of being trapped within the four walls of the classroom. The teacher's voice became a distant hum, and her thoughts drifted away.

Finally, the bell rang, signaling the end of the lesson. Nova gathered her belongings and hurriedly made her way out of the classroom, eager to escape the suffocating atmosphere. As she stepped into the hallway, a wave of relief washed over her. The bustling energy of students rushing to their next class filled the air, providing a much-needed distraction.

As Nova navigated through the crowded hallways, she couldn't help but wonder why she felt so disconnected from everything. High school had become a monotonous routine, and she longed for something more meaningful, something that would ignite her passion and make her feel alive.

Nova hurried to her next lesson, her mind still consumed by thoughts of her failed relationship with Andy. As she settled into her seat, she noticed a folded piece of paper on her desk. Curiosity piqued, she unfolded it and read the words written in Andy's familiar handwriting.

The note read
"Nova,
I'm sorry for what happened between Lydia and me. I thought you were getting too close to Aaron, and it made me feel insecure. I wanted to make you jealous, but I realize now that it was a terrible mistake. I hope we can talk and maybe find a way to move forward.
- Andy"
Nova's heart sank as she read the words, realizing the extent of Andy's insecurities and misunderstandings.

Conflicting emotions swirled within Nova. She felt hurt, betrayed, and angry at Andy's actions. But she also couldn't help but wonder if there was any truth to his suspicions about her growing friendship with Aaron. Was there a chance that Andy's jealousy had clouded his judgment?

Determined to find answers and confront the situation head-on, Nova decided to have an honest conversation with both Aaron and Andy. She wanted to clear the air, understand their perspectives, and perhaps find some closure.

As Nova prepared herself for the difficult conversations ahead, she knew that she needed to stay true to herself and prioritize her own happiness. High school drama could be overwhelming, but she was determined to navigate through it and come out stronger on the other side.
