Chapter 3: Present time

Author's POV
Endeavor got out of bed, took a shower, and then got ready for the day. He went downstairs and saw his 3 children. “Good morning kids” he said, “good morning dad” said Fuyumi, she was the only one who answered, while Shoto and Natsuo rolled their eyes at him. “I'm off to school now” said Shoto “okay, have a lovely day.” Enji said, but Shoto ignored him a went to school and Enji felt hurt because of it, “I'm going out with my friends and I won't come back in the next 4 months because we are going on vacation” Natsuo said while leaving and didn't even give Enji a chance to say anything and shut the door. Enji started to tear up and Fuyumi realized, “don't cry, dad,” she said in a calm voice. “I didn't mean to hurt them, I swear” he replied in a shaky voice. “Dad it was not your fault and we both know that, mom is the reason” she reassured him “but they won't believe me and you know that Fuyumi.” He said, “I know, but trust me, one day they will find out” Fuyumi said, smiling and hugged him, and he hugged her back.

*At AU (in the teacher's lounge)*

“Endeavor, are you okay?” Shota asked seeing Endeavor's face and made all the other teachers look at him, “I'm fine” he replied in a low and soft tone. “Endeavor, I'm your best friend and I know when something is wrong, so if you expect me to believe that you're okay then you're dumber than I thought” Shota said, looking at him.” Now I am going to ask you again, are you okay?" She said in a serious tone “No, I'm not okay” Endeavor said while looking down,” Thats what I thought” Shota replied “Endeavor, what's on your mind?” President mic asked him in a concerned tone, and Endeavor just looked down. Then midnight came over to him and held his chin and turned it to make him look at her and when he did, she saw that his eyes wear teary, “Endeavor, please tell us what wrong” she said worried “My kids don't like me at all, and it hurts me, they say the meanest word to me and make me feel bad” he said while crying and the entire teachers lounge went to comfort him. “Everything will be okay” said all might, and they hugged him and he while he continued to cry.

Enji POV
After I finish crying, they looked at me and smiled, “are you feeling better?” Nezu asked and I nodded in response, he smiled. “Don't worry, they will now the truth soon. Just give them time” Valk said to me and I just looked down, and they hugged me again, and I just sat there and hoped they were hope they are right.

Hey everyone, sorry that I haven't updated the books in a while. it's because I'm extremely busy with school and low motivation, but I'll update the book not often but as much as I can, this chapter has 523 words in it. I hope you enjoy.
