Welcome to the first part of a new story!! I hope you guys enjoy this introduction to Fletcher and his life!!
No One's P.O.V
It was 11:35 pm, and Fletcher was getting ready to go to bed. "Ugh- classes today were shit..." Climbing into the bed he rolled onto his side placing his phone on the charger then getting comfy under the covers.
Fletcher laid there in bed for a few minutes, wondering what kind of dream he was going to have tonight. His last few dreams were a bit strange even for his normal dreams in the past. The night before he dreamt about his future, he had a partner and was just living his life.
It was a normal dream at first until there was tons of whispers as the dream became a nightmare. Fletcher never got nightmares before... he was kinda worried about having another nightmare tonight.
"I just have to sleep to get tonight over with..." Closing his eyes Fletcher slowly dozed off to sleep.

I opened my eyes to see a gorgeous golden sky, few stars visible as it was a beautiful sunset. The moon was a nice bright crescent moon and the clouds just made it all the better. I look around and find myself floating in the air on a cloud, I giggled like a child being happy and safe.
Suddenly the sky turned dark, the stars burning bright and the moon...the moon was bright and glowed a terrifying blood red. The stars even began to explode one after another.
'What's going on?...' my voice was shaking as I suddenly heard voices.
<He's coming!> Said a few of them, others saying something different like, <He's going to take you too!>
The voices were raspy and rung throughout the sky repeating over and over again. 'Stop it!' I shouted, curling up into a ball covering my head.
For a few moments the voices stopped talking and there was laughter, horrifying laughter that sounded so loud and close, getting closer and closer. When suddenly the cloud I was sitting on disappeared and I began to fall.
I screamed, screamed as loud as I could still feeling like I was completely silent. I fell more, twisting in the air to see a red hole under me.
I closed my eyes as I continued to fall towards the hole when there was a quick stop, I felt something grip my wrist and I looked up to see a bright golden glow above me as there was a figure I couldn't quite see.
<You're not taking him, not on my watch you fucking bastards!!> shouted a slightly deep and sexy voices (kinda like Ori from Outsiders iykyk).
I felt a pull of gravity as I was being pulled up, the setting around me changed from dark a creepy space hole to a calming grass field at night, stars not exploding and the moon a nice blue moon. All the constellations were visible and even some planets.
'Whoa...' My tone was filled with emotions, fear and interest at the same time. <Do not be afraid anymore...those damned demons won't get you now> I turn to face the figure that had saved me my eyes lit with envy.
'Thank you for saving me...' I spoke softly, the being just nodded and sat down next to me looking at the sky. 'Uhm... who or what are you exactly?' I asked hoping that it wouldn't anger the being.
<I am Zorin, also known as your Dream Demon> My eyes open once I heard the words "Dream Demon" wait- what the hell even is a Dream Demon?...
'I'm sorry my what?!' I shouted slightly, which didn't seem to surprise him. He just chuckled and glanced at me a smirk on his face.
That's the end of this first part of the story!! I am extremely excited about writing this since I had this idea for weeks and then one day in the car was just picturing it all out since I had hours to do so- anywhooooo I really do hope you guys enjoy reading this and if you got my reference you are my best friend!! ☺️
