A/N: Hi, sorry for dying for a bit, I have had absolutely 0 motivation to do anything but the bare minimum plus writing my own original books. I'll try to write more often here, but no promises, sorry.

This is a time skip to when the other schools arrive for the tournament

Will POV

Magic school was...interesting, to say the least. I mean with plants that try to eat you, teaching illegal stuff in class, and teachers bullying the majority of their students, it's pretty concerning, but maybe it's different here. Now, our main concern was the students from the other magic schools. Annabeth had done some spying and researching, and found out that one of the headmasters used to be follower of Voldemort, and that the school he's the headmaster at doesn't have the best reputation. But that's a different problem for a different, probably rapidly approaching time. Now, me and Hazel were trying not to get caught at the edge of the Gryffindor section with all our friends.

"Will, you look like a toddler," Nico told me, while I was crouching to the floor.

"Would you rather me get detention?" I asked. He thought about it for a second. "Nico!"

"Fine, fine. When are they even coming, it's been forever."

"No ide- oh," I said, because, as if Nico had summoned them, a big block-thing in the sky was flying closer to the large castle.

"What in Jupiter is that?" asked Hazel.

Percy was staring up at the sky, looking surprised. "They're...pegasi."

"What? They have pegasi?" exclaimed Piper.

"I guess," I said just as the giant pegasi-drawn carriage landed. "But, uh, I think they're a bit different from ours."

About 20 shivering students in flowing light blue robes stepped out of the carriage. After they were all out, out stepped their headmistress...a giant. Definitely not a full one, but maybe a half giant, like Hagrid. Still, we weren't sure how trustworthy this woman was.

Dumbledore stepped forward. "Madam Maxine, so good to see you!"

"Dumblydore, a pleasure, as always," the headmistress, Madam Maxine, said in a thick French accent. "Is Karkaroff not here yet?"

"All in good time, my friend."

About five minutes later, a skeletal looking ship came in slowly from the lake. 20 more students stepped out, all wearing thick fur coats, followed by a man with a thin beard.

I heard a lot of Gryffindors and Slytherins, including Ron, excitedly whispering about a man walking near his headmaster, "Is that him?" "I think it is..." "Krum's here?!"

Having no idea who "Krum" was, I focused on Dumbledore and the headmaster, Karkaroff's, greetings. They seemed to be more...tense than Dumbledore was with Maxine. Dumbledore's smile looked tight and fake. Karkaroff was glancing around, shoulders tightened but otherwise seeming nonchalant. When he itched his left wrist, a dark tattoo was shown.

So this is the evil guy. What kind of school would hire a guy with that criminal record to be a headmaster, I had no idea, but one thing was sure: he was going to be a thorn in our sides.

Before I knew it, we were back inside the castle, singing the Hogwarts anthem, stupidly. I could tell Hazel was trying so hard not to laugh, almost failing multiple times. Compared to the other schools presentations, it was reasonable of her, not to mention the strange lyrics to it. My dad would probably start wheeze laughing hearing it. Or he would love it, it's hard to predict with him.

Thankfully, we stopped soon enough and Dumbledore started on a speech about the tournament, talking about an age requirement(which got him loudly booed at by Hogwarts students) and safe nets and that sort of stuff. He revealed of goblet that he explained would be used to pick the champions. Finally, the part us demigods were sort of dreading.

"Due to Hogwarts' American exchange student's advanced curriculum at Hecate's Academy for the Magically Gifted, it has been decided that, though they are below the age requirement, they shall be allowed to place their name in the goblet if they so choose." Cue booing from a pretty big part of the crowd. "I invite our exchange students to submit their names now, before I place the, ah, necessary security measures on the goblet," he continued.

All seven of us stood, Percy pretty hesitantly, and apprehensively made our way to the goblet. Annabeth and Piper returned the glares other students were giving us, making them shrink in their seats, while the rest of us just avoided them. Dumbledore gave us all a piece of parchment and we passed a feather pen around. Once I had written William Solace, Hogwarts on mine and dumped it into the goblet, I hurried back to my seat, Hazel following me. Even the other headmasters were given us the death glare, quickly shot down by the ever-so-scary Annabeth. That just seemed unprofessional.

Soon enough, we were all headed back to our dorms, me hoping I wouldn't be picked. I didn't really need glory anyways.

I snuggled with Nico's kitten Bianca(Nico let me have her for the night) and tried to sleep, of course failing. I ended up staring at the ceiling all night, wondering what the tasks were, what was the challenge Hecate mentioned, and which one of us was going to get picked(because one of us definitely was).
